(Hope you guys enjoyed the last chapter)
(Night)
"Oh yes, the gorgeous world of Vampire Ville." I closed the front door of my house and stepped outside. It's not cold, I don't get cold. I walked around to familiarise myself with the surroundings. Dark. A man sat on a bench facing master's statue, why a statue? Uh, who even cares. I took a closer look at him. I saw black dreadlocks and the man wore a dark purple cloak. I narrowed my eyes. "Oy you!" He glared at me with bright red eyes. "What?" Ha, he's annoyed. His eyes slowly went back to brown. His natural eye colour. How dare he have my eye colour; I didn't even know this guy. Calm down Lilith or he'll get suspicious of you. I gestured to the extra part of the bench next to him. "Uh, can I sit down?" He nodded with a small smile on his face. Uh, I hate him already. I sat down awkwardly. "Do you have a name?" He asked me jokingly. "Of course I have a name!" At my harsh words, he put his hands up in surrender. "Hey, easy. Of course you have a name. It's just a joke. Chill." Chill, what the-? I relaxed all of a sudden. "My name is Lilith Vatore. Just call me Lilith."
I scowled at him. He smiled at me and held out a hand to me. "I'm Antonio Lopez." I didn't accept his hand so he put it down. "Oh nice to meet you Anthony." I teased. He scowled at me. "It's Antonio!" I joked again. "Ok Anthony." He glared at me. I rolled my eyes. "Oh for god sake, of course I know your name, you doofus." He nodded slowly. "I know. I know. You're a typical weirdo you are." A small silence. He knew he'd said the wrong thing. I could tell, the guy had some regrets. I held my hand back ready to punch him but it was stopped by a form of red energy around my hand. I looked towards Antonio but he stared at me and shrugged. I looked behind me and saw Caleb staring at me with red eyes and glaring at Antonio who just said: "Who's he?" He used his superspeed to run to me and whisper to me. "Tell yourself he's not worth it." He released my hand from his magic and turned to Antonio. "Get up will ya?" He obeyed. Cal walked up to him. "I'm her brother, Caleb. I prefer Cal though." He turned his eyes back to blue and turned to me. "Let's go sis." I followed him home not even turning back.
---------------------------------------At home---------------------------------------------
He grabbed my hand and pushed me onto the sofa standing over me. "Who was that?" Look, I know he's curious but it does get a bit much. "Some guy I just met. He said his name was Antonio Lopez." His eyes widened. "Hmm, I've heard of that family. They were said to be a family over many different generations. Well, their lot anyway. The families vary as the Kind family, the Andino family etc. Alexander and Aine Lopez were said to be a couple who settled to live in this place for years. Alexander was a full vampire whereas Aine was only half. They were said to have had children but during the war of the vampires, most of our kind were lost and dead and their parents might have survived but no-one knows. No-one has any idea about their children. Some say their dead but with Antonio Lopez, they could be related in some way, just a thought." I honestly thought he was making it up but from this knowledge, I could tell he was on to something. I tugged him on the hand and made him fall on the sofa beside me. I ruffled his hair messing it up and annoying the hell out of him.
"Lilith!" He scowled at me. "Oh sorry, am I ruining your beautiful hair?" He tried putting it back to its original style but gave up. "Do you know how long it took to style it this morning? Well, afternoon, evening. You get it. It's ruined." He pouted and it only made me want to laugh. My brother was the type of person to have two completely different personalities. He was bossy and rude sometimes but he did act so innocent and easy to torment at the same time. It was amusing to see it. So glad I'm the oldest. But I burst out laughing anyway. I saw him itching to join in but he gave up. I quieted down and saw him stand up and head off towards him room saying he was going to read something in there and to not be disturbed. I nodded. He lied. I heard a crack on the wall and a loud scream that shook the whole house. Things in the house went everywhere and I had to put up a shield of some kind to shelter myself from the wreckage. I heard a small stressful cry. I looked down at the blood dripping off my hands and realised. I have to get something done for my brother.
