Sherlock was in the living room watching over his daughter, Tina. She was playing with her cars, and Sherlock was on the computer doing research for his work.Suddenly, she turned to him and said "daddy, how are babies made?". Sherlock didn't know what to answer. He felt his palms getting sweaty, while trying to come up with an answer. He had never been good at this kind of things, and had hoped to never get this question. "Joooohn!" He called, hoping his husband could help him explain it to their daughter.
John came in to the living room, wondering what was going on.
Tina looked up at him with her babyblue eyes and said "papa, how are babies made? I don't think daddy know." John laughed, and sat down on the floor next to his daughter. He knew Sherlock would never be able to explain something like that to their daughter, and if he tried he would probably scare the shit out of her.
"Well" John said, while he barely managed to not laugh. "Usually a man and a woman love each other very much. When they go to bed together they can make a baby, and then the baby grows inside the woman's tummy for 9 months before the baby is born." John was going to continue, but Tina interrupted him.
"But you and daddy are both boys" she said, questioning. John continued to talk. "We wanted you so much that we made a doctor put a seed from one of us inside a woman, and she had you in her tummy for 9 months. When you were born, she gave you to us. She was a very nice lady, and without her, we could never have had you."
Tina nodded, and didn't ask any more questions. She went back to playing with her cars.
John turned to Sherlock with a smirk. "The man who can solve any murder, but can't explain to his own daughter how babies are born." John laughed, before he sat down on Sherlocks lap and kissed him.
