Crystal's Pov

After I got dressed I grabbed my purse and keys hopped into my jeep and started it but a part of me really doesn't want to go because I still have unsolved problems with Jas but I want to see what's going on with Ariah because I know her parents like to abuse her I don't have to hang out with her to know she's covering up the wounds and bruises she has due to her trying to stand her own ground but let's go in this restaurant and meet whoever this person is here goes nothing.

Ariah's Pov

I was about to call Crystal but I saw her walk right in the door and she must have a date later because she's dressed up so nice I miss my best friend but I don't want her to try to make decisions for me I have everything under control and I don't need her trying to do emotional damage because I've finally got what I wanted out of my parents and that's space but they don't know I can take them down but not right now and I guess I was to far in my thoughts that I didn't know I was crying and Crystal was trying to get me to speak to her

A: I'm going to the restroom y'all can talk

C: are you sure you're ok?

A: I just need to use the restroom

C&K: ok

I quickly made it to the restroom and I grabbed some paper towels to make sure I looked semi decent and not a hot mess then I got a message from Kierra asking if I want to finish the meeting at the house I told her that I was hungry and that's what we came here for and she sent back ok and I used the facilities and I went back out to face my reality once I reached the table crystal was telling kierra how we made a promise to always have each other's back forever and ever I was grateful about that memory but it makes me upset because she just up and left me and even changed her number too

A: hey I'm back y'all

K: are you ok?

C: yea what she said

A: yea I just had a flashback of the incident but I'm fine

C: what kind of incident was this?

A: just let it go I don't need the stress

K: are you going to ever tell her?

A: when I feel like it and it's not now

C: ok I understand you're upset at me but I still care about you

A: can we eat now please

C: yea but you can't avoid this conversation Ari

K: guys we are in public so let's just cool it ok before my name in the media about a confrontation that didn't involve me

C&A: ok

After that we ordered our food but my phone was being blown up by my parents so I decided to step out the restaurant to answer and see why they were harassing me

A: yes father

R: hello are you avoiding me?

A: why would I do that father?

R: because you haven't been to your house in a couple of days so I don't know what to think

A: I had a meeting so she doesn't trust me to be home alone so I stayed at my other house

R: ok so I need to see you in an hour and dress nice your grandparents want to see you

A: fine I'll be there bye

Hangs up

I walked in the restaurant and walked to the table to grab my things so I can go grab my truck and get ready for this family meeting that seems so sudden but I was stopped by a concerned Kierra

K: where are you rushing off to

A: I have to go see my family and my grandparents

K: let me know if you need to come to my house

A: I'll stay at my other house but I will still let y'all know when I'm ready to decorate the gym for the birthday party ok?

K: ok but nevermind

C: when will we be able to talk out our problems Ariah

A: when I am ready to

I walked out of the restaurant and went a couple blocks to my other house and changed and hopped in my black BMW and sped off in the direction of my parents house so I decided to call Kierra and spill some feelings so she knows how I feel

K: hello Ariah

A: What are you doing?

K: getting in my car what's up

A: oh ok I need to tell you something about how I feel

K: ok I'm listening

A: I have a big crush on you but I have a lot of things I need to settle first before I'm able to do anything with or for you

K: Ariah wow that's a lot to process and why do you like me?

A: because you have a kind heart and a beautiful personality I've been around you for a couple of days and I have seen a lot of care come from you than my own sister

K: that's so sweet and thanks but let me know when you're ready to go on that date because I kinda like you too

A: ok I gotta go face my family but I'll call you later ok

K: ok Ari

A: that sounded very sexual kiki

K: oh my bad I didn't mean it to come off that way but bye

I turned my car off and headed up to the door and before I could knock I was faced with my grandma and she looks excited to see me

Granny: Hey Ariah how are you baby?

A: I am good grandma

Granny: I hope you enjoy the news I have it includes you so come in darling

A: umm ok

When I walked in my parents looked nervous and that didn't help me but imma see what my grandparents have to say about the business so I can go talk to Crystal

Granny: so I have some good news and bad news. Bad news is Ariah isn't working for you Ronald she's working as her own boss and she's going to continue to do her designer business and she has to give you orders on where to sell the product

Ron: WHAT HOW THE HELL THIS BITCH IS MY BOSS!!!

Grandpa: Because we said so and she's the reason why your numbers aren't as bad as they were but you like to put your hands on her and she needs a different position then being up under a father that doesn't give a shit about her so we're putting her in charge you understand

Ron: I understand sir

My grandfather was up in Ronald's face and I didn't know whether or not to stay for the fight or leave so I didn't be a witness to a murder but after the family meeting I decided to go home and rest because they strained my energy but tomorrow I have to face Crystal.
