Crystal pov

I wanted to give Ari her space because obviously she didn't want to have a conversation on what went wrong with our friendship and why I had to disappear from her life but I saw Karen talking to her and Ariah's mood changed for the better and I kinda wanted to be nosey but it's none of my business so I went back to helping blow up the balloons so they can make an arch and it's going to look so pretty I wished I had a big birthday party I might have one after me and Ariah make up and become besties so I have 4 months to get us back on better terms.

Calvin: hey can I ask you something personal?

Crys: Sure go ahead

Cal: What happened between you and my boss?

Crys: what do you mean?

Cal: because she always said that her bestie basically left her to deal with her monster parents and she's still dealing with with them now when they hurt her, she becomes a bitch but she says her best friend is going to come and help her take down her parents but your just now showing up when she's basically have given up hope on being a full time event planner so why show up now?

Crys: I didn't know she needed me I literally have had the same number and everything for years and she told me her and her parents are getting along so I'm assuming she lied to me but I'm not going anywhere ever again and if I do imma be in a got damn casket

Cal: damn there goes that best friend energy keep that in mind even when things get tougher between you guys ok?

Crys: ok I will Calvin thank you

Cal: no problem

After that conversation I felt like I would be able to move forward with Ariah and we can still be in each other's lives and make some more memories

At Crystal's house

So when we arrived I seen that my girlfriend was gone I should see where she's at but I don't want to know about that because I don't wanna get my heart broken by the truth but eventually Imma confront her but right now it's about my friendship with Ariah so I sat down on the couch and she sat across from me for a few minutes it was silent until spoke

C: Are you ready for the true story on why I left

A: yes I'm ready as I'll ever be

Flashback

As Ariah and Crystal were playing Truth or dare they didn't realize that Ariah's bodyguard had stepped out on the patio on facetime with Roslyn so they didn't know Roslyn knew about them kissing and after she found out that Ariah had a crush on Crystal she couldn't have that because Crystal's family was their enemy at the time and she didn't want her daughter to fall for crystal at all because they might end up starting a gang war that they didn't need so once Roslyn got to the house she pulled Crystal
Aside from and told her that her daughter will not be turned out by the daughter of my enemy so if you have any respect for her you would leave and never come back in my daughter's life again after that Crystal went to Ariah's room got Ari's diary an wrote a letter but she thought it wasn't best to leave it so she just left her with her cellphone number so when she got a phone she would be able to call Crystal on her own terms.
Present day

After Crystal got done telling Ariah the story she saw Ariah shed a few tears then got up once Crystal realized that her bestie had zoned out and was turning into her alter ego Queen and there's no stopping Queen once she comes out so Crystal hugged her best friend until she calmed down which took a while after 2 hours of holding Ariah she saw that her friend was back to normal

C: I was going to tell you sooner but you never called me

A: yea I just thought u were embarrassed to have kissed your best friend

C: I liked you back so there was no reason for me to be embarrassed

A: oh then my mom told me that probably you didn't want to have a lesbian best friend

C: no she lied to you Ari I don't care who you love if it's me or Kierra it wouldn't matter we would still be BFFs

A: do you forgive me for not telling you that my parents abused me for years after you left?

C: yes I forgive you. Do you forgive me?

A: yea it's water under the bridge

While they were hugging in walked Jas and she was upset that her girlfriend was confining in someone else that wasn't her so she turned around picked up the lamp and tossed it in their direction
