Chapter 6

"You ready to go?" Seth asked as I walked into the lounge. "Yep." I smiled tightly at him trying to make him believe that everything was alright.

I hardly noticed Josh looking at me with a concerned look on his face as we left the house. I got into Josh's car and I decided to sit in the back and Seth got into the front. As we started driving Seth and Josh got into a conversation that I didn't really understand so I put on my headphones and closed my eyes.

I didn't even realise I had fallen asleep listening to my favourite artist until I felt the car stop and Seth tapped my arm. I opened my eyes and looked at them tiredly. "Hmm?" I said quietly and Josh smiled at me softly. I pulled off my headphones and looked at him. "Sorry. We have to stop to pick up the others."

I watched him as he got out the car knocked on the door of a very nice house that was quite large and the door opened and two of the boys from the other day walked out and laughed with Josh about something as they all made their way back to the car. I was pulled out of my trance as Seth suddenly said. "Are you sure you're alright Elle?" I looked at him and even just his face gave me butterflies. "Yeah, everything's okay. Just a little nervous I guess." He smiled at me and reached his hand over to me and put it on my leg. "There's nothing to worry about. If it ever becomes too much just tell me and I'll do everything in my power to help you, okay?" He smiled at me and all I could do was look down at his hand.

Just as I was about the pull up the courage to reply the car door opened and the blonde boy Sam smiled at me. "How lovely to see you again." He said sounding wholly unaffected by the awkwardness of my behaviour. All I could do was smile at Seth softly and he smiled back at me before I turned my attention over to Sam "Hi Sam." I replied and he got in the car and sat next to me. "And, Colby. Right?" I said as a second boy got in the car. He gasped at me. "I can't believe you can remember Sam's name and not mine!" I looked at Sam and he smiled at me before turning to Colby. "Your freaking her out Colby." I looked over at Seth for comfort and he held his hand out behind the seat and I quickly held onto it. "Sorry doll. Didn't mean to." Colby said in my direction and I smiled at him and I felt Seth hold my hand tighter. "Uhm, do either one of you want to swap places with me?" Seth asked the two boys next to me.
Sam looks at Seth as he spoke and noticed Seth holding my hand and quickly offered to swap. So Seth got out the car as well as me and Sam, and Sam got in the front and I looked at Seth. "Should I go in the middle seeing as I'm the smallest?" I asked him quietly. He looked past me at Colby and shook his head. "No that's okay sweetheart. You sit in the same spot as before I'll go in the middle." I blushed at the nickname and he smiled at me and got in the car and I followed him in after.

Once we were all in the car again they all started taking about how excited they were for where we were going and i quickly asked. "Where are we going?" And I quickly regretted that as both Sam and Colby looked at me with a shocked expression on their face. "Your telling me you don't know where we are going?" Colby asked as Seth quickly put his hand on my leg. "I don't." I replied suddenly feeling very small. "We're going to The Harrimans Hospital. You know the one that's haunted. It was just opened up the the public so we are all going in for the night." Sam replied and i couldn't help but feel a little better just from his enthusiasm. "Oh, cool." I wanted to let them know I didn't really know much about haunted stuff I only ever just explored abandoned places or cool places like when I went to Antartica with some friends for a series on my own Youtube channel about a year ago but I was open to the idea of doing new things so I smiled at them and I put my headphones back in and listened to some music while they all talked and I couldn't help but blush as Seth's hand stayed on my leg for a while.

SETHS POV

I was talking to the others about one of me and Josh's latest explorations we had done when i suddenly felt something on my shoulder and I look over at Eleanor and I noticed she had fallen asleep with her head on my shoulder and I blushed slightly and I put my hand on her thigh and I turned back to my friends and kept talking and I noticed Josh smiling at me through the mirror. I kept my hand on her thigh as she slept for the rest of the drive until we arrived there around 5pm. We were a little bit early so we parked and decided we should have something to eat so the others looked on their phones for nice places to eat near us while I couldn't help but watch Eleanor sleep. She looked so peaceful and calm and beautiful and I wanted to kiss her so badly but I knew I couldn't so I settled for just admiring her until I got pulled out of my trance. "Are you going to keep just staring at her or are you going to wake her?" Sam asked me with a little bit of a laugh as he noticed my red cheeks. "Uhh yeah, I was just about to do that." I replied as he chuckled at my reply. They all got out the car to stretch their legs and i tapped Eleanor on the shoulder softly.

ELEANORS POV

I woke up to Seth tapping my shoulder and I noticed everyone else was out of the car. "Hi." He said softly at me as I opened my eyes. "Hi..." I replied and I noticed his hand on my thigh and i looked down at it and I felt blush creep up my cheeks. "Did you sleep okay?" He asked as he moved his hand from my thigh to my cheek. "Uhm yeah, thank you." I replied trying to keep my chill. "I'm glad." He replied as he leaned in and i closed my eyes and he kissed my forehead.

I bet you were expecting a kiss on the lips. But not yet.
