Lost Friendship | Seth Borden friends to lovers

Chapter 2

I woke up to the sound of many voices outside my bedroom so I quickly got out of bed and opened my bedroom door to see what was going on. I look out and see around 5 boys sitting in the lounge together laughing and chatting about something and luckily none of them notice me so I quickly close the door and retreat back into my bedroom. I know that I've only been back in the states for just under a month but I thought that I would have recognised more than just my roommates in the group.

I go over to my bed table and grab my phone and check it quickly and see only a few notifications worth looking at but I ignore them for now and I open Spotify and I play my favourite playlist and I head to my bathroom to go wash my face as I had already showered the night before. Once I have washed my face I head over to my vanity and I do my skincare routine quickly and then I brush and fix up my hair a little bit.

Once I've done my hair and skincare I go over to my wardrobe and pull out a cute black miniskirt and a baby tee and I chuck it on along with some awesome spider tights I had bought at Halloween time. Once I'm dressed I quickly put on some light makeup just to brighten myself up a bit and then I decide to face the people hanging around in my new home.

I grab my phone and open my bedroom door and slowly leave my room and I quickly get noticed by Seth. "Hey! Elle! Come meet some of my friends!" He calls over to me as they all look towards me. I walk over to Seth and introduce myself politely. "Hi, um I'm Eleanor." I look around at them all and notice that Josh is not there. "Hey, I'm Colby." A husky voiced boy says to me. "I like your hair Colby." I point out his dark purple coloured hair. He smiles at me as his friend looks at me as if he wanted to say something so I look at the blonde boy. "I'm Sam." He says as he puts his hand out to shake my hand which I do reluctantly.

I look over at Seth and see him already looking at me then I look over to the other boys. "I'm Dan. I think we knew each other in high school?" He says looking at me. I vaguely recognised him. "Oh yeah cool." I look back at Seth to see he's talking to Colby and sam so I look over to the last person. "I'm Corey." He smiles at me. He seemed really nice so I smile back at him before turning to Seth and quietly telling him I'm going to go out.  He looks at me and asks if I will be able to navigate okay and I nod although I don't even know where I am going to go, I just wanted to leave because I was being too socially awkward. I always knew I was an awkward person around people I didn't know but it made me awkward around the people I did know too, and I felt bad so I decided I would go out for breakfast instead of eating at home like I had initially planned.

I go to the front door and i put on my shoes and my coat and I head out the door and into my new car I bought. I ended up looking on my phone for a cafe and using the gps to tell me where to go and I was able to make it there quickly. Once I go to the cafe I went in and got myself a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. My food arrived quickly and I ate it as I looked on my instagram and saw that a few of the boys i just met had already followed me so I followed them back and ended up stalking the boy with the coloured hair. As it turns out that him and the blonde boy have a Youtube channel together and they do haunted and abandoned exploration videos just like Seth, I suppose that explains why they are friends. I quickly finished my food and drink and I paid and went back to my car.

When I was sitting in the car I decided I needed to face reality and go back to the house and be with all those people so I turned my gps back on and made my home. Once I reached the house I parked and went inside and took off my shoes and coat and i dropped them by the door and headed towards my bedroom. Fortunately it sounded as if Seth and his friends had relocated into the other lounge that has the big tv and the fridge in it so i was able to go straight to my room without seeing anyone.

TIME SKIP TO THAT EVENING

I had spent the day just lounging around at home and had gotten changed into a tight baby tee and a pair of teensy shorts so that I was more comfortable. I had heard some of the boys leave around 2pm but i could still hear that some of them were sticking about so I stayed in my room until around 5pm where I heard the others leave and I decide to head to the kitchen to make myself something to eat. I was only in the kitchen for a few moments before Seth showed up as well. "Yo." He said as he entered the room and headed to the fridge. "Hey. Did you have fun with your mates?" I ask trying to get some human interaction that's pleasant for my day. "Yeah, I hadn't seen some of them for ages so it was awesome." He replied sounding more excited. "Oh that sounds nice." He smiled at me before leaving the kitchen and reappearing just a few seconds later. "Oh, I was wondering, did you wanna hang out tomorrow?" He asks startling me "yeah sure" I reply as I look up at him. "Awesome." He smiles warmly at me as he leaves the room again and i hear him heading upstairs to his bedroom.
