Love Interest
1. Have they been friends with the LI – if there is one – forever? Great. Why? How did they meet?
2. Friends without knowing each other long? Why make them become friends so quickly? Let them get to know each other first, find things they don't like about each other... And please, no love at first sight!
Attention: There are already countless stories for Edmund as LI where the characters go from enemies to lovers (trope).
3. More than one LI for YC? Mööp. Try again. The only exception I can think of right now is if the first LI dies and after an appropriate amount of time the C is ready to date again. ... A No-go: A love triangle between YC, Edmund and Peter / YC, Peter and Caspian / YC, Edmund and Caspian.
4. Caspian is the LI? Okay, who doesn't love him, right? Well, what to do with his originally unnamed star-queen? The movie named her Liliandil – which, in my humble opinion, is a very fitting name. Don't just write her out of the story. Caspian and she can still become friends, or he finds her beautiful – he is a man after all. Or they still both develop feelings or just one of them. Or YC comes into the story after the VODT – Caspian could confess about having fallen for someone before, but she walked with the stars (major The Hobbit vibes, I know). Or she fell in love with someone else, a sailor maybe whom she led on his years at sea (Besides the point: I would love to read this!).
5. Susan and Caspian? Please no. I don't know why the movie did this. Ideas anyone?
6. Peter as the LI? If YC marries him in the Golden Age – however that relationship came to be – and is crowned queen, she is the High Queen of Narnia, thus ranked over Peter's siblings. This was the only time in Narnian history where a High King was named, thus Miraz is confused as Edmund explains this in the movie. This doesn't apply in Caspian times because there's only one monarch.
Relationships
7. How is YC's relationship with the Pevensie siblings? Perfect with all of them? Perfect with just Lucy and Susan because they are female too, while they don't get along with Peter and/or Edmund?
8. Is their LI Peter or Caspian and they can't stand the other one? Why, oh why?
