Nicole and Jane, the two girls who couldn't be more excited about starting their 3rd year at Hogwarts.
Nicole met Jane during the sorting ceremony as both were just sorted to Ravenclaw, they bonded over books, mysteries and questions.
Everyone knew they couldn't be separated, no matter how much Nicole likes the silence, Jane was there to destroy that. Nicole didn't hate it though, she only disliked when Jane would do that.
She could never hate Jane.
"Are you excited?" Jane asked smiling widely, "No" Nicole replied smiling, "lies"
Nicole has always felt like she was just "the best friend" in Jane's story. She never really felt like people befriended her for her. People always went up to her for Jane.
Jane felt the same, not that they know that was what each other felt.
Fitting in wasn't hard for Nicole and Jane as they both came from prestigious families. That was what other's thought. It looked flawless to others. It was hard for them, other's thought it was okay to get close to them. But both feeling the same, it was uncomfortable.
Jane was always there for Nicole as Nicole did the same, they did and went through everything together.
