On a boat, Pearl is seen searching the water with tired eyes while Amethyst is holding Steven's legs as he searches underwater.

"Ugh! This isn't getting us anywhere" as Pearl is holding the edges of the boat searching the surface of the ocean.
"What's the matter Pearlgy? You tired?" Amethyst said still holding on to Steven's legs. "I don't get tired, I get results" Pearl said, narrowing her eyes on the ocean surface.
With his head underwater, Steven starts to lose his breath, signaling Amethyst by wiggling both of his legs. "Was the sign for pull me up one wiggle? or two?" Amethyst said confused.
Pearl getting frustrated "Amethyst! Stay focused" she says staring intensely at the water's surface. Amethyst shrugs, letting go of Steven's legs at the process.
"For all we know Lapis and Jasper's fusion could be right under our noses!" Using her gem to light the surface of the water. Steven suddenly comes out of the water floating, wearing a life jacket in front of her, surprising Pearl.
Steven spits out a fish, "This is why we wear life jackets" Steven says annoyed with them. Pearl gasps "Steven! Are you alright?". Suddenly, Garnet comes out of the water grabbing Steven in the progress, putting him on the boat.
Garnet huffs in annoyance "Nothing" . As Steven wiggles his body like a fish out of water, Pearl groans "Ugh! It feels like we've been searching for lightyears!" "Uhh lightyear measures light, not years" Amethyst says while poking Steven's stomach which results in him spitting out another fish.
"Guh! And I'm sick of wearing these life...diapers!" Pearl said getting more frustrated. Steven stands up getting another lifejacket "Safety is no punchline Pearl" approaches Garnet handing it to her "Safety is our job, we must find Jasper and Lapis, as it stands their fusion is a ticking timebomb" Garnet says throwing the lifejacket behind her and making a lifejacket on her body.
Steven being concerned for his friend asks "Is Lapis gonna be okay?" Garnet responds "She had control when she used her powers to drag their fusion into the ocean, but a fusion like theirs in unstable, bounded together by anger and mistrust, if that bond snaps their anger will take over and destroy" adjusting her shades.
Steven yawns looking at the ocean "Don't worry Lapis, we won't let you sleep with the fishes" starting to fall asleep. "We're going to have to keep looking, but first let's bring Steven home" Garnet says looking at Steven sleeping on the boat. Steven abruptly wakes up "W-wha? No! I-im fine! Let's go fishing! I just wanna catch some..." and starts walking to the edge of the boat, but before falling in the water Garnet catches him by the foot.
