Chapter 6

Shawn's POV:

Me and the guys immediately get our things and get out of the house. All of the bad things that could happen to lex went through my mind. Is she okay? What could she be thinking right now? No stop Shawn you can't have feelings for her. You already put her through so much and look at where she is at. She has only been with you one day and you already let her get taken. I have been driving for 6 hours non stop until carter spoke up.

"Bro you need to take a break I'll take it from here" he said to me.

"no I got it" I said obviously tried.

"no you don't you haven't slept all day and now you have been driving for probably 6 hours no I'm not letting you drive for one more minute you need all your energy for the morning and plus I'm the only one who has her location" he finally stopped.

"Fine just let me pull at a gas station to get gas at least" I said finally giving in.

I pulled up to a gas station and got out. I walked into the gas station and payed for the gas. I decided to get some food and drinks cause the guys will be cranky when they wake up. When I walked out carter was pumping the gas.

"You got food!" He yelled.

"Ya" I said laughing as he almost tackled me.

We ate some food until the gas pump stopped. We got back in the truck and took off. I started to doze off a bit until I completely passed out.

Shawn's dream

"Babe!?" Some girl yelled.

I walked to the voice I heard until I was tackled my someone. I turned around and saw it was lex. She has a huge smile on her face. Her hazel eyes glimering in the sunlight.

"Tag your it" she whispered kissing my cheek and jumped off running away.

I smiled and took off after her. She was running away and for some reason I lost her.

"Lex!?" I yelled.

"Shawn!?" She yelled.

"Lex!" I yelled running towards her voice.

I came upon a room and walked in. Lex was standing there with someone holding her by her arm and a knife to her throat. Rage started to boil in my body.

"Shawn" she barely whispered.

I was able to see who the person was that was holding the knife to her throat. I saw it was Caleb. That even made me even more mad than I already was.

"Oh look your boyfriend is here" Caleb said smirking.

"Caleb what the hell are you doing here" I said walking forward.

"Step one more step and I'll slit her throat right here" he said.

"What do you want?" I asked

"I want you to feel the pain I felt when you killed my friends" he said pressing the knife more to lexs neck.

"You don't have to do this" I said stepping one more step.

"Don't take one more step!" He yelled.

I looked at lex and she mouthed 'I love you'. Then Caleb slit lexs throat. She feel to the ground lifeless. I ran to her bawling my eyes out.

End of Shawn's dream

I jumped up breathing heavily. I saw that carter was still driving. I looked at the time and it was 6 in the morning. That means lex has been with Caleb for about 10 hours. We have to get to her as soon as possible. Carter noticed that I jumped when I woke up.
