Chapter 10

Alexa's POV:

After about 20 minutes Shawn's screams stopped. My heart was pounding. Matt stayed next to me the whole time.

"Come on let's get you cleaned up" he said grabbing my hand.

I didn't say anything. Matt took me upstairs to his room. I walked into his bathroom and washed my hands. When I looked up there was blood on my cheeks and forehead. I got a towel and wiped it off. Matt came back in with a shirt.

"Here" he said handing me the shirt. "Don't worry I'll turn around" he said turning around.

I changed my shirt real fast and walked out the bathroom. I was pacing back and forth throughout Matt's room.

"Lex calm down its going to be okay" he said coming over to me.

"No! Its not okay! He was saving me! Me! Its my fault! " I yelled running my hand through my hair.

"No lex its not your fault he was saving you... You should never blame your self" he said.

"Its just he shouldn't have do-" I started but got cut off by the door opening.

"Shawn wants to talk to you" carter said.

I didn't say anything else to Matt. I walked out and almost ran to the room Shawn was in. Right when I got to the door I hesitately opened up it. I opened the door really slow. Right when I opened it I saw shawn. His shirt was off and he had a bandage on his upper chest.

"Shawn!" I yelled.

I ran to him and gave him a huge hug.

"Ow ow still sore" he said.

"Oh sorry" I said letting go. "How are you?" I asked

"Fine just sore Taylor said if that guy shot 5 centimeters to the left he could have killed me" he said.

"I'm so sorry Shawn" I said looking down.

"Hey" he said lifting up my head "don't be sorry you didn't cause this" he said looking me in the eyes.

"But-" I started.

"No buts" he said.

"Okay" I laughed. "I have to go back home today Shawn" I said.

"What no your not going home if that guys out there" he said sternly.

"Shawn its not your choice and plus my foster parents will be worried I have to go home" I said.

"Fine just call me if anything happens and I mean anything... Anything suspicious" he said.

"Okay Shawn" I said.

Shawn wrote down his number on a piece of paper and handed me it. Me and him walked up to my room. I had to help him walk up the stairs a bit. We get my things which was just my shirt and shoes. We walked to the front door and I saw Matt in his car waiting.

"Bye Shawn" I said.

"Bye lex" he said.

I turned around until Shawn pulled me back and pulled me close to him. Our bodies were touching and our faces were inches from each other. Shawn's hands layed on my waist. He leaned in and our lips touched. It felt like fireworks. I could feel Shawn's heart speed up. The kiss wasn't fast it was slow and passionate. When we separated our foreheads touched.

"Would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked

"I thought you would never ask" I said.

"Come on love birds" Matt yelled.
