"YOU, ANGELINA TEAGUE, ARE IN THE GOOD PLACE."

Angelina looked at the man, confused. At first, she didn't want to believe it.

Her? In basic heaven?

It didn't seem real.

However, she wasn't one to turn away literal heaven, so, obviously, she didn't.

"Well, that's good." She smiled at him, to which he smiled back.

"Sure is. Let's take a walk, shall we?" He stood up from his desk, hoping Angelina would do the same. She did, and she followed him out the door.

When she was expecting the weird room she had came here in, that couldn't be more different to what she faced.

She had walked into a beautiful picturesque town-square, with flowers of every color, water fountains that looked straight from F•R•I•E•N•D•S, lively people, and multiple...

Fro-yo shoppes?

Well, even if that was odd, Angelina shrugged it off and admired it all regardless.

She wanted to ask how he had just teleported them, but it seemed as if it would ruin the moment to be skeptical.

Michael waited a beat to admire how enthralled she looked. Her eyes sparkled a brilliant green as she placed a strand of black hair behind her ear.

Much to Michael's surprise, she was an inhumanly gorgeous woman, and even if he didn't really have a full grasp of human attraction, he was sure of her beauty. That, he could understand.

She seemed so kind, and so... innocent, if she was placed against some people. He didn't understand it.

What he did understand, though, was that he couldn't just stare at her.

"...So, this is how it works. The Good Place is divided into distinct neighborhoods. Each one contains exactly 322 people who have been perfectly selected to blend together into a blissful harmonic balance." He explained proudly, to which Angelina looked around, impressed.

"Do all the neighborhoods look like this?" She asked inquisitively. Michael shook his head.

"No, every neighborhood is unique. Some have warm weather, some cold. Some are cities, some farmland. But in each one, every blade of grass." He stressed. "Every ladybug, every detail has been
precisely designed and calibrated for its residents.." Angelina nodded along.

"There are a lot of frozen yoghurt places." She chuckled, meaning nothing by it.

"Yeah, that's the one thing we put in all neighborhoods. You guys love frozen yogurt, I don't know what to tell you." He shrugged, only for Angelina to purse her lips and raise her eyebrows.

"Not knocking it. Fro-yo's pretty good." She lied. She didn't want to hurt his feelings. Really, she didn't like sugary dairy treats that involved milk.

Michael knew that, but only smiled at her diligently. Lord, he didn't expect her to be so nice.

"Well I'm glad.. and you're gonna have a million more questions, I know..." by the time he said that, they had made their way to what looked like very precise rows of chairs, right in front of a stage.

"But for right now, you better grab a seat. The movies about to begin." He put a hand on her shoulder and gave her a sly wink as he guided her to a seat, and of course, she had taken it.

As he walked away, Angelina sat down next to a blonde woman. She was staring straight forward at the empty stage, looking bored out of her mind. Angelina almost tapped her shoulder to strike up a conversation, but she didn't like talking to people she didn't know.
