When things are perfect, almost as if your entire life had been a complete set up storybook, how does it all end so wrong?
I looked around, seeing enemies, friends, and him, the one whom had caused all this destruction and chaos from the beginning...

The next morning, being deep in sleep, I felt the amount of sleep I was having was suspicious, I glanced at my clock, realizing it was 9:30. I cursed under my breath, jumping out of bed, rushing to the bathroom, luckily Elena and Aurora had disappeared, so I could easily brush my hair and teeth without the urgency of them using it as well. I chucked on my blouse, rolling my skirt a bit, slipping on some black knee high socks, and slipping on my shoes, just about tying my tie, as I slipped on my robe.
Late on the first day is so typical. I rushed out of my dorm, darting through the common room and running up the spiral staircase, I felt out of breath when I reached the entrance hall, I however managed to make it to charms by the skin of my teeth. I took the first available seat I could see which was luckily next to Percy Oakley.
Professor Ronen started the second I sat down, I noticed out of the corner of my eye Percy have a slight smile on his face as he shook his head, taking notes. I grabbed my parchment and started copying what Ronen was saying. It was quiet a simple lesson, when I started loosing interest, I noticed I had chosen the worst possible seat, I glanced directly across from me and saw Sebastian, and Ominis staring right at me. Great.
"Well, I might add students, these seats you've picked, are the same seats you are going to have for the rest of year, so make sure you've picked wisely."
"Perfect," I muttered under my breath.
The lesson concluded as Ronen smiled and wished everyone a good day. "Late on the first day Eira?" Percy teased. Me and Percy had been good friends since we met in Potions our first week, he was a loyal friend to me, I was most surprised I can quite accustomed to a Hufflepuff.
"Oh shut it Oakley," I teased back, as we walked out together. "I assure you, it won't happen again."
"Oh really?" He raised his eyebrow. "Late night?"
I sighed, clutching my folder to my chest as we descending down the stairs leading towards Professor Fig's class room. "You could say that."
"How was your summer anyways or should I not ask?" He asked being considerate.
"It was alright, not the best, not the worst, and yourself?" I asked.
"Actually alright, thank you, spent most of it helping my mother attend to her garden really." He admitted sheepishly.
"A Hufflepuff having a green thumb? Why I never." I acted shocked causing him to burst out laughing as we headed down the wooden staircase leading to the exit of the Defence Against the Dark Arts tower.
"Shocker I know!" He replied with the same sarcasm.
"Anyways, The Yule Ball is coming up soon, you got your eyes on anyone to ask?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Oh, maybe Poppy? We are quite good friends after all." He shyly admitted.
"Another shock, as if you've liked her since first year!" I teased as we pushed open the doors, walking in the transfiguration courtyard, finding a bench to perch ourselves on.
