I Love You Too [Seungjin]

Chapter 23💐

Hyunjin comes back to his family house after he was called to come over for some reason only to see his parents and some strangers that look familiar to him seating at the living room as if waiting for somebody.

Once Hyunjin's father spots him, he quickly stood up and headed towards hyunjin.

"Hyunjin quickly come, we have guests over. You remember Mr and Mrs Choi? And their daughter of course Saereom."
His father chirped, guiding the raven towards the visitors.

Hyunjin then remembers.

The Choi family.

He remembers their families being quite close. They would always come over for afternoon tea and Saereom would always play together since they were both an only child.

He remembers having a crush on her and both has mutual feelings. But sadly she and her family has stopped appearing and he never knew why.

Fortunately for him he wasn't that heartbroken cause they were kids.

It wasn't anything serious right?

"Hyunjin, it's good to see you again." The elder shooked hands with hyunjin firmly.

"Oh erm, nice to see you again too sir.." hyunjin replied, unsure how to react as he felt a bit awkward.

"Hyunjin.." a soft voice called out for him.

The raven turned towards the young lady who sat next to Mr Choi.

"It's been a while hasn't it?" Saereom smiled at him, beaming.

"Oh yeah it has.." hyunjin shrugged.

He doesn't know how to feel at this point. Yes it was nice to meet a childhood friend but how do you act after you haven't seen them for 12 years?

"Hyunjin sit, we're going to have a serious discussion." Mr hwang directed his son.

Hyunjin not knowing what else to say awkwardly sat on the couch next to his mother who then held her son's hand in a way as if to comfort him for what was to happen next.

"So, uh hm" Mr Hwang cleared his throat. "Me and your mother have been discussing with the Chois and we want to make a partnership deal."

"And in order for that to happen, we've decided..."

"To arrange a marriage with you and saereom."

"Oh isn't that exciting hyunjin?" Saereom squealed as she finally got up, hands clasped together, "our dreams are coming true!"

"What the fuck?" Hyunjin yelled as he stood up, face in shock as he let go of his mother's hand. His mother turned away, as if she knew it would happen but just didn't want to see it.

"Hyunjin language-" Me hwang said before being interrupted

"No fuck that. Why would you ever agree to that without my consent?" Hyunjin argued clearly pissed and confused as whatever was going on.

"Hyunjin we need this, the business, it be good for-"

"NO GODDAMNIT!" Hyunjin shouted before packing his things and heading towards the door before slamming it shut.

"Give him some time saereom, I'm sure he's just a little hesitant." Mr Hwang sighed.

"If you want this business deal you'll need your son to agree." Mr choi spoke unfazed.

"Yes of course, we'll convince him. As for your part, saereom would be joining him at his school as well, correct?"

"Of course, whatever my daughter wants."

Hyunjin storms into his car driving back to his apartment.

Tears whelming over his eyes in frustration.

Was it safe to drive in this state?
Probably not but hyunjin didn't care at this point.

He reached his apartment and slamed the door shut.

His feelings and thoughts were everywhere.

Fucking hell.

Now he sat on the couch.
Overthinking everything, wondering if he has overreacted and if he should have settled things there.

But it wasn't fair. His father has always treated him like this, like some bargaining tool. That's why he moved out, to get away from him. Now that asshole has come back to taunt and haunt him again.

He just really wanted someone right now.

But hell he doesn't even know where he stays at.

Texting and calling him about something like this could be weird.

He'll just have to wait for Monday to arrive and see his favourite person there.
