Grayson has been amazing. Once we got back to his home, he asked me for the key to my house to get a new lock. Then he showed me to my room, pointed to a double door across the hall, and said,
- This is my room if you need anything let me know, oh, and please feel free to use everything in the house, the pool included, if you don't have a bathing suit I can provide one.
- Oh, I brought one. I figured if it's OK with you, I can let some steam out.
He smiles and says
- That's my girl. Once you settle in, come down for dinner, OK?
- Sweats OK? I'm just too emotionally tired to do anything, to be honest.
- Of course sweats it is
and kisses my forehead.
The room was modern hotel style, with a sitting area, a walk-in closet, and a huge bathroom with both a shower and tub. I put what little I brought with me in the closet and toiletries in the bathroom. I take a quick shower, put my sweats on some socks, and head down with my hair still wet. He was barefoot with PJ bottoms on and a T-shirt in the kitchen, making us some sandwiches and some tea.
- Exactly what I needed, thanks. I owe you big time.
He looks at me seriously and says:
- You don't owe me anything.
- Well, maybe Lebanese food?
I smilingly say
- Deal
The evening was very short as I was beat and all I wanted was to just sleep, which I did in front of the TV. When I woke up, I realized that I was asleep in the crook of his arm with my head on his chest. I felt so embarrassed and, as usual, I blushed. I realized that his breathing was steady, which meant that he was asleep as well. His legs were stretched out on the coffee table and he had thrown a cover over us. I didn't know if I should move, wake him up, or what to do.
- You're awake.
 He says
I move to sit properly, but he pushes me back.
- This feels good. Stay.
Then he tightens his arm around me for a second, kisses the top of my head, and goes back to sleep. I had no energy to argue, so I go back to sleep as well.
I felt a hand caressing my hair, a kiss on my forehead, and someone calling my name. I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not, then I heard my name again I open my eyes. Grayson was looking at me with the most tender eyes I've ever seen.
- Hey baby girl ready to go to bed?
I rub my eyes and say
- I'm sorry I fell asleep. Usually when I'm angry or sad, my body shuts down.
- That's OK, but I'd rather u sleep in a comfortable bed, though having you sleep in my arms felt good.
I blush. He laughs, holds my hand going up the stairs, and at my door, he kisses my forehead. He wishes me good night and walks to his room.
