What if: Porco became the Armored Titan Part 1

Each of the warrior candidates stood lined up awaiting the announcement from Captain Magath. This moment was the reason that they had been training for years now. Each of them hoping to be chosen as a warrior and make their families proud by serving the Marleyan army and atoning for the sins of their ancestors.
Annie Leonheart stood ready, though her mind seemed to be somewhere else far away as usual. You probably wouldn't think of her to be a warrior, but that little blonde girl could take on a man twice her size, and put him on the ground without even getting scratched.
Bertholt Hoover, a quiet young boy, had his eyes wandering around the room, studying every detail, though his gaze continually returned to the door as he waited for the captain to enter.
Marcel Galliard, even as poised as he seemed, you could see a touch of nervousness in his eyes. Pieck Finger seemed similarly anxious, though she did not hide it quite as well Marcel.
Porco Galliard, brother of Marcel, and the resident "hothead" of the bunch, stood with confidence, and a slight smirk on his face.
Reiner Braun, was visibly nervous, and to any who looked closely, was actually shaking.

The Marleyan army only had 6 titans to go around, and because Tom Ksaver had chosen Zeke Yeager as his successor for the Beast Titan a year prior, that meant that there wasn't enough titans for the whole group, and one of the kids would have to wait 13 years before they could have another chance at becoming an honorary Marleyan.

The Female titan, versatility is its biggest strength. It possesses great mobility and endurance, and though range is limited, it can call pure titans too. The Armored titan specializes in hardening. If it charges in at full speed, the gates of any wall will crumble. It serves as Marley's shield. The Jaw titan is an assault weapon. It's as speedy as it is small, with claws and a jaw that crush nearly everything. The beast titan, though slightly larger than other titans, is capable of many different feats in battle, depending on the form the beast takes on. Zeke Yeager's throwing technique is something to be feared.

The Cart titan has outstanding endurance, suitable for long missions. Its users are known to stay in titan form for up to months on end. It can be outfitted with different equipment to extend its usefulness. And then, there's the colossus titan. A god of destruction. Its explosive transformations can be used to decimate anything within close proximity to it.

The seventh titan, "The Warhammer" has always belonged to the Tybur family. A distinguished group of Eldians, who earned the respect of Marley after coming to the nation's aid during the great titan war. The eighth, which is currently the target of the Marleyan army, is the founding titan. The founder is capable of wielding the power of Ymir, and using her abilities to shape the world as they see fit. The only thing known of its whereabouts is that it is on the island of Paradis, and most likely within the royal family. The ninth and last titan, the attack titan, is the only titan capable of resisting the control of others, fighting instead for the freedom of all. It's location, and holder have been lost to time.

The door opened and the captain stepped into the room, followed shortly by the current owners of the Marleyan titans each of them looked tired and as though they would wither away at any moment. They all were carrying a red armband identical to the one they currently wore on their arms. The candidates all quickly brought themselves to a full attention as they entered, the last one being Zeke who closed the door behind him, before turning back towards the candidates and smiling at them. Even though he had been chosen already, he had still trained with the others, and he did consider them his friends. Captain Magath turned to address the candidates. "It has been decided which of you will be inheriting the titans. These decisions are final." He turned his gaze to those who had followed him into the room. "You may announce your successors."

The first to step forward was Martha Sanders, the current owner of the Female Titan. "The new female titan will be Annie Leonhart." Annie stepped forward and Martha walked toward her. She began to unfasten Annie's current yellow armband, which marked her as a warrior candidate, and replace it with the red one that she held, which would signify Annie as being a full warrior of the Marleyan army. "I will use this power to atone for the transgressions of my ancestors." This phrase had been spoken by all of the warriors hundreds of times, whenever their superiors had asked why they were there during training. Once she had switched the armbands, Martha stepped back into line with her fellow warriors.
