The muse of a rich painter, and the painter of a beautiful muse. 

The painting, titled The Woman Studying The Tidal Charts, was by far Edgars best paintings. But there was more to it than just fame and brushstrokes. It was a story of a tremendously annoying painter and the genius solivagant. What was even more bizarre was that, once they made eye contact, the two could never seem to look away since then.

"Oh lord Edgar, what?"

"Y/n I can't even paint I have an artist block on me right now. CAN'T I JUST SAY HI?"

You looked at him with one eyebrow up and laughed. 

"Then say it." 

"Hi."

That was easy.

You didn't know why he decided to come to your room. He just knocked, you welcomed him inside, and there is now the present. Here.

"Hello, Edgar. What do you need?"

He thinks for a moment. Unsure if he should say it or not. But even if he lied, there was no use trying to because he'll say it anyway.

"Can I complain?"

You smiled at him and laughed again. The reason why he came here was just to complain, he knew that to you, it's kind of a waste of time. But did he care? Absolutely not. Anyways, you liked how he shit talked the other survivors. You were on neither side so you didn't really care whatever they all feel. 

"Sure."

"Great! My match was so terrible today. I tried saving Patricia but she kept saying don't rescue me for a good reason so I left to decode since Jackie Chan was there fucking camping like usual,"

"Mhm. Then?"

"THEN CAME FUCKING MARTHA. SHE WAS THE WHOLE REASON WHY WE GOT LOST. My win streaks were all gone :(" 

You were trying to stifle your laugh at his voice when it cracked. You knew that he hated it if you ever laughed at him. That's why he's so bully material. 

"Aw, calm down."

He looked at you as if you had said the full name of God as blasphemy. 

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'CALM DOWN'?"

You were suddenly disappointed. 

"Calming down means to relax your body, relieve your thoughts and to breathe in and out, while keeping your mind clear. Calming down may relieve your anger and you can keep calm. You are neither sad or happy. You are in a tranquil state, and you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I defined calming down for you."
