PROLOGUE
Esmeralda Morales was notoriously bad at love.
Her niece, Catalina would always tease her about it too.
She could never hold a relationship down for more than six months, even then she was lucky that she had even gotten that far. She blamed it on that she hadn't found her soulmate yet.
But then she did meet him.
He was kind and gentle and caring with her and her niece, taking the teenager under his wing like he was her father and didn't seem fazed by it.
He even wanted to adopt the young girl, so that she wasn't worried about losing him. He wanted to become her father. He wanted her to call him dad.
He would sweep both of his girls off their feet and treat them to whatever it was that they wanted. He would take them to his races, on holidays, concerts, spas, zoos, anything and everything.
Wherever they wanted to go, they would go. As a trio.
As a family.
And his name, was Fernando Alonso.
