"y/n, sweetheart! are you ready yet?", my parents called from downstairs. i was getting ready for a skating date with my girlfriend, ashido! we have been going out as girlfriends for a few months now, and it's been amazing!

"yeah! give me a second." i changed into my new clothes and did a quick mirror check. "i hope she likes this." i whispered to myself, grabbing my f/c skates and bag, as i ran downstairs. 

"ashido will be here soon, hun. you all set?" my mum said, passing my breakfast to me as i kinda rushed through it. "mhm!", i muffled with food in my mouth.

"ashido's mums are dropping us off like i said still too." i said. my dad nodded. "of course! her parents are lovely."

suddenly, there was a gentle knock at the door while i was finishing cleaning my breakfast mess. "ah! mina—san is here, bye ma, cya dad!" i shouted, knowing that their upstairs. 

"bye hun! tell ashido and her mother's we said hello!", my parents shouted from upstairs.

"i will, love you!"

i opened the door and was greeted by a beautiful pinked haired and skinned girl. she was wearing stunning colors and our matching hair clips and our gay matching bracelets from the pride festival we went to last year. 

"heyy, hun!", ashido said, hugging and kissing my forehead. "hii!~", i greeted her back. 

"you look gorgeous!", she complimented, "i also brought my pride flag to wear! do you have yours to wear at skating too?"

i nodded, getting my y/s (your sexuality) pride flag out of my bag and putting it around me. "i also brought my rainbow one just in case." i smiled.

ashido returned the smile and took my hand, bringing me to her car as i closed the door.

once me and mina—san got to the skating rink, she took my hand and both my bags, waved goodbye to her mums and ran inside. it was actually pretty quiet, only a few people here.

"oo! we kinda get the place to ourselvesss!~", ashido sung, walking me and her over to a nearby bench to put our stuff down and shoes on. "yeah!", i said, blushing a little.

we both got our shoes on and ashido's was so cute! her's was bright pink and our initials on it with a '+' and a heart. Also lots of stickers and pastel colours.

i smiled at them as we both rolled over to the skating rink.

"WHOA—"

"AH!—"

me and ashido slipped straight away, forgetting that the rink can be a bit slippery. we laughed on the ground for a bit before getting up. 

"pftt- you okay, babe?", mina asked, leaning onto the wall behind her for balance.

"yep! heh." i replied, rolling around to try and get used to it as best i can.

thankfully later on, ashido and i got the hang of it. 

we took a small break and got some candy and drinks from the little cafe inside the skating rink. but suddenly, a few new people came in and it got more crowded. 

since me and ashido had already been here for a couple hours, we thought we could just go hangout in town. we both agreed.

we got back to ashido's car with her parents and told them that we're gonna go get some lunch and just a small thrift shop date. they said it was just fine and dropped us off.
