as a young prince like yourself, you grew up with a very strict family. your father, his parents, your mother and her parents were very controlling.

you, of course, hated it. but seeing the people in your kingdom hoping and wishing to become royalty like the rest of your family made you confused. they obviously didn't see the bad side to becoming a royalty.

years go by pretty quickly and you were getting ready for your 10th birthday. you were very excited since you were finally allowed to take a look around most of your kingdom. sure you were allowed outside the castle gates but there was a limit.

you were getting changed by your favorite maid, angelina. she was the kindest maid and your first adult friend you've made. "are you excited, your majesty?", she asked you as she fixed up your outside you were forced to wear .

"uh huh! this never happens to me, of course i'm excited!", you replied happily. angelina chuckled softly as she brushed your h/c hair with her fingers a bit. "there you are, sir. hurry along, your parents are waiting downstairs."

you nod as you fix your shoes a bit and rush out of your huge bedroom and down the castle stairs with a big smile with angelina walking not too far behind me. 

once you were downstairs, you saw your parents talking to the guards to double check the castle is secure so no one breaks in. like you haven't heard that conversation a billion times.. your parents treasure every bit of their home.

"ah, y/n. did angelina fix that hair of yours properly? it's always a mess," your father speaks before putting on his small glasses and looking down at you. he showed a small smirk at your hair, satisfied. "hm . decent. come along now, boy." 

your father would sometimes treat you like a thing but you still loved him. thankfully, you were allowed to bring one of the maids. she dressed similar to the guards next to you as you walked out of the gates while you held her hand.

the kingdom was very busy. there were people walking past and admiring you, even some little girls your waving shyly. of course, you smiled back without being asked too.

while parents and some of the guards next to them were talking about work stuff suddenly, you got bored fast. you looked around at the village around you still you spotted a boy around your age.

Ash blond hair, pretty crimson red eyes and small fangs in his smile. 

he looked like he was playing with another boy with nice, forest green hair and eyes. you smiled warmly as you watched them play with branches, pretending to be fighting. you felt your cheeks go a little rosy as the blond boy made eye contact with you. 

YOUR POV

i smiled happily as i walked over to him. "hi! what are you guys playing?", i asked. The green haired boy looked at me in shock. "y─ your majesty! w- we were um.. w- we 're pretending to be knights. h- happy birthday, by the way!", he replied in a cute, small shaky tone. 

"mhm. what he said" the blond replied. 

"aw, thank you. and that sounds fun! i've never played that game before," i replied in a soft tone. the green haired boy shook his hands with a smile. "that's okay, your majesty!"

"oh please! you can just call me y/n."

"hm. well i'm katsuki bakugou and this idiot is deku," the blond said, pointing to the green boy next to him. he chuckled. "well uhm.. that's my nickname. i'm izuku! izuku midoriya. i call him kacchan for short!"

i admired the nicknames for each other. "that's so cool! i wish i had a nickname, my parents think they're silly."

katsuki frowned. "hmfp. i don't like your parents."

 "mhm.. i'm sorry. oh! we can give you a nickname!", izuku replied.

my eyes sparkled as i nodded with a big smile. "ooo, yes please! but.. what would suit me?"

katsuki looked like he was thought for a moment as he stared at me. "angel face." 

me and izuku looked at him in confusion. "huh?"

"angel face. your face looks like an angel.. that's your nickname from now on." he said proudly. i smiled like the happiest i've ever been! "wow, thank you katsuki!" i say, giving him a hug suddenly out of joy. 

katsuki's cheeks went a little pink as he just patted my back. "mhm.. yeah, yeah."

the boys and i played for a while with angelina watching with the corner of her eye just in case. they showed me how to play knights and i listened with izuku and some other kids about katsuki's dream to become a knight and 'kick people's butts' .

but that came to end too soon.

"Y/N!"

i felt my heart drop as i quickly turned around to see my furious father and my mother in disgust behind him. "wha-"

"what have you told you about asking to run off like that, huh!?"

"i- i just-"

" Nonsense ! you're halfly here to look for a wife and not some dumb, pity friends you pathetic boy. hurry up!"

i felt my father grab my wrist and drag me away as i turned back to the two boys.. my first friends outside the castle. my eyes were glossy as i tried to get out of my fathers grip.

katsuki and izuku watched in shock as their mothers held them back in shock too. i looked into katsuki's eyes and saw the fear.. 

..then determination.
