Yellow Eyes (Neteyam x Reader)

Background information

Before I start this story, I wanna explain some things because I rlly don't know how to explain it in the story. So here is some information about the main character:

Y/N is a 17 year old girl who has lived her whole life among the Metkayina clan. But she isn't a Na'vi, she's human. Because of a genetic thingy she can breathe the air of Pandora without being killed. So you don't have to imagine her with a weird oxygen mask on;) Y/N is raised by Tonowari and Ronal, but she doesn't really see them as parents. Their relationship is good though:)

And she has a secret. A secret only the Metkayina clan knows about, because otherwise it would be dangerous for her. Y/N can transform into a lioness. A strong, beautiful and big creature who has helped the Metkayina clan fight many fights. She has been doing that since she can remember. So her job is basicly to protect everyone from harm. Her whole life has been the same, but that ends when the Sully family arrives and bring their war here. Y/N could never use all of her strenght, because then she could kill someone within seconds. But with this war coming up, she can only pray that her powers are strong enough..

And of course she falls deeply deeply deeply in love with Neteyam;)

In the beginning I wanna follow the storyline of ATWOW, but sometimes I will change it a bit. The only thing I change in this story is Neteyam's age. He will be 18 years old. The rest of the characters are the same age as they are in the movie.

You can imagine Y/N the way you want, but the clothes that she'll be wearing are a red crop top with a matching red skirt and some white sneakers (who aren't so white anymore). I know these clothes may seem impractical, but it's made from a special material that can grow and transform with her. She'll otherwise rip outta normal Na'vi clothing. These clothes were given to her by the lab-people, just to make things clear:)

I love this story idea, so if you don't then please go read something else:) If you do wanna read it then please give it a chance. I know that the beginning may be a little badly written, but I promise you that throughout the story my writing skills become way better. I just needed the first few chapters to find my own style:)

I'm in a burnout right now, so I'm using this as some sort of coping mechanism. I'm from the Netherlands, so English isn't my first language. I really try to write grammatically correct, so when I make a mistake, please don't go hard on me:)
