Neteyam's POV

I can't believe it. My girl is gone, kidnapped, taken away from me..

This is all my fault. I should've protected her better. I should've been there with her, eventhough she wanted to be alone. I should've never let her go to her cave.

But it's too late now. The girls and I are going into the forest again, hoping to find something that can lead us to where Y/N is.

I'm walking through the village to get my Ikran. I already got my bow and knife, so I can fight if I need to. Then, I find my Ikran and climb on her. But before I can give her the command to fly away, I hear someone shout at me.

"Wait!"

I look down and see Danique running up to me.

"What is it?" I ask her.

"Let me go with you" She says.

I furrow my brows. "And why should I do that?"

"Because I can communicate with the girls from up above and translate it for you so that we can all search together and stay in touch"

I think about it. I don't know if I can trust her. But on the other hand, four eyes can search better then two.

I sigh. "Jump on"

She smiles and does so. When she's sitting behind me, I give my Ikran the command to fly.

After a few seconds, we're flying through the forest. The girls have transformed themselves into their lion form and are also running through the forest.

"So, why did they transform?" I ask Danique.

"We're faster in our lion form" She explains. "And our energie levels are higher, wich means that we don't get exhausted fast"

I nod. Then, I hear one of the girls make a sound. Danique makes them too, as if they're communicating. I realise now that it's a good thing that Danique is with me, otherwise I wouldn't be able to stay in touch with the rest of the girls.

"Sabine has found a weird scent, she wants to follow it" Danique says.

"Okay, so what do we do now?"

"We follow her, they might need our help from above"

I do as she says and give my Ikran the command to fly in the direction Sabine is running to.

After a few minutes the girls stop. I let my Ikran land in a tree and turn my head right to see what the girls are doing. They have transformed themselves back into their human form.

"Neteyam, is it okay if I hold you for a second?" Danique asks.

"Why?"

"Because otherwise I'm definitely gonna fall off"

I turn my head further around and see her holding onto the Ikran for dear life. I forgot that we're sitting almost vertically.

I laugh at this, finding her frightened face really funny. But then I nod. "Sure"

She immediately wraps her arms around my torso.

"Just to be clear, I don't mean anything by this" She laughs. "You're totally Y/N's"

I laugh again. "Thank you for clearing that up"

"Hey!" Sabine yells to us.

"Oh, what's up sis?" Danique yells back.

"The scent ends here, I'm sorry!"

"Shit.." I say under my breath.

Danique sighs too. "Fuck"
