[Chapter 2: Welcome to Northern Mountains] Part 1

3rd POV of the town of the centre clan of the Northern Mountains

The centre town was built near to nearby river and close for mine shafts of the Northern Mountains where ore deposits would be mined for daily purposes... most of homes in the town were built and expanded when there new influx number of people.. is a lively town with stone walls and guard outposts the main building of the clans of Northern Mountains also located here.. which would be the location that Princess Isabella and her maids would be going..

The group arrived at main gate of the town... two guards station there... a goblin and a human with goblin heritage bloodline in him... the goblin guard about to ask the group to stop for inspection... but noticed that this group is the Lord Group.. which they proceed to open the main gate.. the princess and the maids were awestruck seeing such buildings in a mountain area like this..

The Lord asked a scout to relay a message to the other clans leaders about this new predicament... about a neighbouring princess found in Blacken Forest... the Lord thought to himself about what kind of reactions that the other clan leaders.. most likely surprised.. unable to tell what happen.. the Lord laugh slightly of the reactions that might happen..

For now, Princess Isabella and the maids would stay at the Lord Gobta mansion...

Lord Gobta Micheals POV

The home where I have been staying would be used as a home for the princess and her maids which don't mind at all... I was living alone in this home after my parents had peacefully passed away...

I also never entertain the idea of hiring any maids... because seriously... this house isn't too big that I couldn't handle the cleaning...

Now 5 girls would be staying in my place...

The girls arrived as well as I did... the mansion is basically a simple double story house with 2 small storage rooms [already fill to the brim with random stuff that my father and I had collected over the years..] 2 wells [mostly because it be easier to collect water rather going to nearest river which already quite faraway from here..] including 2 small gardens [it was made by my mother since she enjoyed farming.. now these 2 garden plots under my care now]..

For now... the maids and the princess would be using two guest rooms at 1st floor... while me... I might as well stay at my room which would be on the ground floor... well... this going to be nerve racking at least...

Princess Isabella Norvo POV
Today, me and the girls be staying in Lord Gobta house which almost similar to the other houses in the area... the only difference that the location is at the centre of the city and on top of a small hill... I was surprised the fact that he stay at this place... alone...

The maids decided to tidy up the place and Lord Gobta didn't mind much about it...

Time fly quite fast and dinner was made by the maids. We ate together with the Lord [It took some time for Lord Gobta to persuade the maids to stay at the same table.. the concept of nobles and commoners doesn't really applied much in Northern Mountains.. ] the titles such as Lord or Sir is simply applied on their duties for the clans they served.. and Lord Gobta told me that there would be an important meeting that I have to attend with him.. it involve relations of the kingdom towards The Northern Mountains..

The next day would be an interesting one since rumours begin to spread among 1st Northern Republic Army Division soldiers under the command of Lord Gobta about girls staying at the Lord house...

But...

There also another set of rumours about mobilization of various Army units throughout the region and among the clans... what would happen?... is the decision to final act upon against The Empire incursions into the Blacken Forest and Anatolia most north and south borders..

Head maid Mary POV
I wonder where did Princess gone to as there a Goblin knight who came to the door of the house... the knight was surprised that it wasn't the lord that ans the door.. The knight begin talking to me...

"U not from here isn't it??"
"Well... not exactly (why all the gobs here seems to have good manners)

"Oh wait... u part of that princess group... at least that what the previous patrols made her blush..."

"Well yes... emm > her chin had been touched by the knight... which somehow made her blush"

"Wait... huh th... thank you... (AHH... but ... I am quite old woman (in her mid-30s)

What with this knight??... Why he be interested with someone like me..?!.. Back at the palace... most of the men would not even bat an eye towards me at all... so it is a bit weird for me...

Then behind me... Lord Gobta was already looking at me and the knight... he then say to me to wake up the others... I went my way to meet the other girls... I wonder what he and that knight would be talking about...

One of soldiers of the Centre Clan POV

We were told that today meeting shall be done with extra security... that can only mean one thing there going to be a lot of new things to check on... or there someone quite important on this meeting... the troops on each clan... our uniforms would be basically in grey and green camo types with the differences would be the clan emblems on our shields and certain spot on our uniforms..

The standard equipment for a typical warrior of the Clans of The Northern Mountains would be a simple iron standard sword which combined with enhancement spells, a round shield with iron reinforcement to give extra bite in combat and to block incoming projectiles and a short dagger for daily operations purposes or to stab a enemy in close range when the iron sword is lost or broken..

I keep checking my blade which is something I tend to do during guard duties around here... is not like something would happen in this meeting tho..

>Unknown to him... someone or something at nearby forest are stalking these guards... still who would dares to attack this place..?

Lord Westro James POV [Leader of West Clan in Northern Mountains]

Another meeting... uhg still it had to be done... there are 5 clans in Northern Mountains... so our people would be always want to have meetings in weekly basis or when there something bad happens at the borders of the settlements in Northern Mountains area..

But...

I heard that today meeting would be quite important... something to do with a fact that a noble or a group was found near The Blacken Forest... at least that what Lord Samuel said.. well.. at least be able to restock on some health and stamina potions at cheaper price here..

Back at the South... they quite expensive... and to get some of my front side of my armor to be fixed because it got broken a bit due to a Bear attack in a patrol run.. blasted bear.. at least I had a spare one...

A lot of people here... the usual trading of goods, equipment etc for now it seems to be quite busy indeed... we haven't developed a currency system except there is a circulation of Anatolian coins at the Capital..

Get a lot of things done and could go for the meeting then I wonder who this noble would be including the group as well...
