Jenna, Joaquin, and me walked into the Coterie.
"Oh, shit!" Alice commented.
"What happened to you?" She questioned when she saw Mariana's blood on me.
"She's stable. Um... But they had to put her in a coma. Because she had a bunch of strokes and there's some swelling in her brain. But they're gonna move her to a better hospital near here."
"Does she have any family?"
"Just her brother but he's in India."
"What do the Police say?" Dennis questioned.
"Um... They, uh... They interviewed us at the hospital. I assume now they're heading to the farm to arrest Adam and Silas. Unless they're already on the run."
"Hey." Malika called.
I looked up.
"How are you holding up?"
"I'm just really worried about Mariana. I should get to the hospital."
I stood up.
"I'm the only one that they're letting in to see her. So..."
"Well, is there anything we can do?" Alice inquired.
"Yeah. Yeah. How can we help?" Isabella questioned.
"Thanks. But, um... Just knowing that you're all here is everything."
I walked out of the Kitchen.
I walked into Mariana's room.

"Hey. Do you think Mariana's gonna make it?" Davia questioned.
I scratched the back of my neck.
"Um... I don't know."
