Prompt: Scarjost have been dating for about 7 months and decide it's finally time to meet Colin's parents. Scarlett is nervous, does it end up going well?

Colin's age: 36

No one's POV:

"Baby, I'm so nervous," Scarlett says, a worried look held in her green eyes.

Colin pouts sympathetically before grabbing a hold of Scarlett's cold hands against his warm ones.

"Honey, I understand it's scary, but please trust me. They are so excited to meet you and will love you, okay?" Colin says with a reassuring smile on his pale lips.

Scarlett nods as she bites her bottom lip and with her eyebrows knitted, she's clearly thinking.

"C'mere sweetheart," Colin gestures to bringing each other into a comforting hug.

As they engulf each other's warmth, Scarlett sighs as her shoulders relax and she curls more into Colin's chest, feeling his heartbeat against her cheek.

"I love you," A muffled tired voice comes from Scarlett and Colin holds in a chuckle as she then yawns.

"Come on, we better head off to bed, okay? We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow," He says gently as he rubs his arm up and down Scarlett's back.

"Mhm," Scarlett replies tiredly.

Loud, annoying birds chirp cheerfully in the orange and red trees due to the fall season and Scarlett groans and Colin chuckles.

"Good morning, baby," Colin's deep voice appears.

"Mm, I love your morning voice. And good morning," Scarlett mumbles with a smile.

Colin leans in for a kiss but Scarlett pulls away.

He frowns in confusion and slight hurt, but Scarlett just perks a brow.

"No kisses until both of us have brushed our teeth," She says with the mum voice intact.

Colin groans and rolls his brown eyes before jumping out of the king sized bed and walking around to the bathroom.

Scarlett scoffs as she also jumps out of the comfort of the bed and makes her way into the wardrobe to choose her outfit of the day.

Okay. Option 1.

A blue buttoned dress with white polka dots and white sneakers?

Or option 2?

A tucked in black t-shirt with baggy jeans and boots with a jacket?

Scarlett thinks about her options carefully.

Definitely option 1.

As she changes, Colin walks out of the bathroom back into the walk-in wardrobe noticing Scarlett's choice.

"Perfect choice, honey. You look beautiful," He says as he passes, giving Scarlett a quick kiss on the cheek as he looks for his outfit on his side of the closet.

"Thank you, baby," Scarlett blushes as part of her worries wash away.

She tucks her light blonde-brownish short hair into a hair clip as she then begins her skincare routine.

"What time is it, darling?" Scarlett yells out from the bathroom.

"10:26am! We need to leave in half an hour, is that okay?" Colin yells back.
