It was the Saturday after their initial consultation with Nathan. Sue had organised four tickets to The Book Of Mormon stage production as a surprise birthday treat for her husband. Harry had tried to convince her to go a few times but she had begged off, feigning lack of interest in the show.
She planned the whole day for him. She had already suggested he play an early round of golf with their brother-in-law, Charity's husband, Joshua. He liked Josh, a lot and he loved Charity. While he had been occupied arranging the golf game, she was busy booking four tickets to The Book Of Mormon at the Paramount theatre in town.
She also had booked an early dinner at the Tamarind Tree Vietnamese restaurant, Harry's favourite. His favourite dish, the Bo 7 Mon banquet for three, and a favoured fish dish for Charity and arranged for a layered chocolate cake she would make to be delivered to the restaurant in time for dessert before the show. Harry didn't much care for Asian desserts but loved her chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream.
Charity was starting to show and told Sue that she would normally join in the banquet but the baby was playing havoc with her taste buds. She thought it best for Sue to choose a fish dish for her. She didn't trust herself to make a good choice on the night. Sue laughed at the drama Charity was making out of a menu choice, but then, she always was the dramatic type. Top of her drama class and in demand for the lead of every school play, and later, at the Amateur Theatre House. She had even starred in an amateur production of Les Miserables to critical acclaim in the local paper.
Sue loved her baby sister but she had continually gotten her in trouble with their parents, and also beat her at getting the latest toys, CDs, and DVDs. Now she was even going to beat her at getting a baby. The girl who couldn't make up her mind from a menu managed to get pregnant, on her honeymoon.
Charity came over to help Sue bake the cake and then she dropped the cake off at the restaurant so Harry would not see it. As far as Harry and Josh were concerned they were going for a quiet family dinner at a local.pub as it wasn't a big birthday.
The girls talked the boys into letting them drive as they would have had a few drinks at the nineteenth hole. The boys didn't argue the point so they must have.
Harry was excited when Sue pulled up outside the restaurant, 'his' restaurant.
"Wow! What's this? What are you up to Cheeky?" he asked as he placed his hand strategically on her right leg and moved it ever so slowly up between her thighs until his fingers discovered she wasn't wearing any panties. Sue let out a small groan and said "Tell you later Cheeky," and laughed as she put the car in park and silenced the engine. She was relieved to see Charity's car parked a few spaces down. Charity was notorious in the family for being late to everything. Her mood took a lift to another level now and she winked at Harry. "Let's go in, shall we?"
"Do we really have to? I miss our parking days of steaming up the windows," Harry joked.
"Just what did Nathan say to you the other day? Never mind, whatever he told you keep doing it!" Sue said as she ground herself over his fingers and spread her legs ever so subtly, and tantalising the tips of Harry's exploring fingers. Then she shut her legs locking his hand there, "Gotcha!"
"You always have. If you really want to know, he said we should make passionate love at the time I grab a sample. The more passion the better chance the sperm count will be higher and matter in the equation and the better chance you will have to conceive."
"You better not be too tired then after the show," Sue hinted.
"Show? What show? This isn't a surprise birthday party is it?"
"You'll just have to wait and see. Come on slow coach." Sue opened her door and pulled herself free from Harry's caresses.
Harry looked around hoping not to see any more cars he recognised. He wanted this night to be intimate, special. When be entered the restaurant to no fanfare he knew his wish had been granted. He couldn't help but picture what the end of the evening was going to be like.
