Stuck in Hisui

Flashback

You were walking back to the town, following the fading light that brought you here in the first place.

As you looked to the side, you saw a little bird pokemon sitting on the ground.

You walk over to it, before petting it.

Suddenly the sighting shifted and you were petting a black, blue and yellow bird pokemon, but you had no control over your body.

'Aren't you adorable, little rookidee?', you heard yourself say.

Then the sighting turned back to normal.

You quickly made your way back to the town, with the bird pokemon waddling after you.

'I didn't know you had a rufflet', Rei said.

A rufflet..

'I only found him today'

Akari handed you a weird looking ball.

'Its a pokeball, use it on rufflet', she said.

You gently tapped it against rufflet, but you dropped the pokeball, spooked by how it shallowed up rufflet.

As Rei and Akari were talking with the professor, you were staring at the pokeball that now held onto rufflet.

You were very confused about what had happened when you petted it.

'Umm professor.?', you said, nervously 

'Yes?', professor Laventon said.

'Do you know about a pokemon named.. rookidee?'

The confusion was readable on his face.

'No I haven't..'

'Is that even a pokemon?', Rei asked.

'I think I had a flashback..'

They all looked at you with confusion.

You told them about what Arceus told you, about you being from a different reality, and that you needed to fight with giratina to go home.

Akari and Rei looked at each other, then at professor Laventon, all silently agreeing on something, before looking back at you.

'We have experience with giratina', the three of them said.

Then Akari and Rei told you that they were also send here by giratina, but they weren't lucky enough to go back home.

You felled your confidence melt away.

You sat in the dark outside, looking at rufflet that had too much energy for 3 fucking A.M.

Then a little fox like pokemon sat next to you, staring at you with its hazel coloured eyes.

You picked it up, surprise by the low temperature of its white with red fur.

Then another sighting shifting.

You looked down at a green cat like pokemon with pink eyes.

As you did so, it licked your face.

'Aww, sprigatito', you heard yourself say, while giggling.

'I thought you were planning to rest', you heard a different voice say.

You looked up at him, to your shock it was that guy you still remembered.

Aiden.? No wait.. A.. A.. Arven!

'I napped for 2 hours, I'm not tired anymore, I'm hungry!'

Then the sighting shifted back.

You looked at the fox pokemon in your arms, as it licked your face.

You reached to your bag that Rei lend you, and grabbed a pokeball.

You held it up to the pokemon, who lightly head butted it.

You still were spooked by how those small pokeballs could hold an entire pokemon inside, but you didn't drop it this time.

'Rufflet, come we are going to bed', you said, in response rufflet waddled to you.

You walked into your cabin, waiting for rufflet to walk in, before closing the door.

You found yourself staring at the two pokeballs you owned.

Both of them were holding onto a pokemon that gave you a flashback into your past life.

'Are all my pokemon going to do that..?', you whispered to yourself.

You weren't sure if you said it with fear, or with happiness.

Maybe I can find out why I'm here..

You sigh, before laying back down.

You looked at your hand, staring at the engagement ring.

'What's connection do I have with that Arven guy?', you asked, half whispering.

You groaned.

I need to stop overthinking.. tomorrow is a better day
