HARRY POV:
I woke up peacefully. I didn't wake up scared for one reason. I didn't have any nightmares. Wonder why.
I heard a little snore and looked down. Ginny was cuddling next to me on the Gryffindor couch. My heart skipped a beat when I saw her so peacefully.
I remembered what happened last night. Gin and Dean broke up. Today was Hogsmeade weekend and I was planning to invite Gin to go out with me. Was it too soon? I could say we could go as friends, to Zonko's and have fun as we did before. Yea, I should shoot my shot.
GINNY POV:
I didn't have any nightmares last night. No nothing. This was astonishing considering what happened last night. It was Hogsmeade weekend. I could ask Harry to go with me. I mean, if he made a weird face, I could say 'as friends', but we all know that I wish it was much more.
I could smell his cologne from here. We probably fell asleep last night. It was quite nice. I never had nightmares when I was with him. I pretended to be asleep, hoping that it would be just like those muggle teenage movies when the love interest says something about their feelings when the other one is asleep.
"Gin? Are you awake?"
I didn't respond.
"You know it's Hogsmeade weekend, right? We could maybe go to Zonko's or something, if you want."
This was the time. It now or never. Casually, but make him amazed. "Yea, sure." Perfect.
HARRY POV:
"Yea, sure."
What the fuck just happened? Did she just accept my invite? I thought she was asleep! That's not fair! Well, at least I will spend a day with her.
"Where do you want to go?" Play it cool, Harry.
"We can just hang out. Maybe go to the Three Broomsticks? I really need a butterbeer."
This reminded me of Cho. In my fifth year, we went to Madam Padfoots or something. I don't really remember. It was a really ugly place to be honest. Full of hearts and lovey-dovey shit. Most importantly, it served TEA. Not even a soda. Cho was definitely not my type. Maybe it's a sign that Ginny is ... I don't know, better for me?
I can't use big words, like she was meant for me. What if I get rejected? I can't bear that the love of my life could reject me. Slow and steady first, Potter.
"Meet me in half an hour here?" she said.
"Ok." We got up and headed to our dormitories.
GINNY POV:
No fucking way that I will go with Harry and spend the day with him.
"Hermione?" I call.
"Ginny! Where were you? I couldn't find you anywhere! Ron said that you and Dean broke up! Do you feel ok? When can stay here for the day!"
" 'Mione, I am perfectly fine, thanks for asking. I was with Harry last night" At this, she gave me the most Hermione-ish look on her face.
"I need to get ready, I am spending this weekend with Harry." I tried not to blush.
"Fine, I'll leave you two lovebirds."
"What? What do you mean?"
"It just so obvious that you guys fancy each other!"
"Say what now?! What do you mean with each other? Do you know something?"
"I'll just say that next time you look into his eyes, try to not get lost in them and to see how he looks at you."
"Thanks for being so helpful." I choke with sarcasm.
I throw on a simple outfit that I love. I go down the stairs to find Harry. He's really handsome now. I mean, he is every time I see him, but now even more. Stop it, Ginny.
When he looks at me, he seems speechless.
HARRY POV:
Wow. I mean, how can someone look this good? Her red hair complements her outfit so much. How? Harry, stop standing like this, make a move!
"Wow" Wrong move.
"What, Potter?"
"You look......."
"Amazing? I know, no need to tell me that" I smirk at that. She always knows how to make me laugh.
"Let's go, shall we?"
She takes my hand and we go to Hogsmeade. It really nice to spend time with her, she makes everything funny and worries leave you. We enter the village and go into Zonko's first.
