11 WAYS TO PREPARE
YOUR SOUL FOR A
SPIRITUAL RAMADAN..

•EDUCATE YOURSELF
Read books, listen to podcasts, watch videos to broaden your
knowledge. Also decide which books you want to read during
Ramadan (Holy Quraán, Tafsir and a good Hadith both are a must.

•REMIND OTHERS
Educate the young ones about the importance of preparing for
Ramadan and remind the older ones about it's true purpose.
START CLEAN- SEEK

• REPENTANCE
Ask Allah to forgive your sins so that you start with a clean slate
before Ramadan.

• DEVELOP THE HABIT OF TASBEEH
Read 3 Qul, Ayah-tul-Qursi and send Salawat (durood) upon Prophet
Muhammad S.A.W in your free time instead of talking idly/gossiping.

•MAKE A LIST OF DUAS FOR RAMADAN
Make a list of all the duas that come to your mind beforehand so
you don't forget any during Ramadan.

•FIX YOUR SALAH
Salah is the second pillar and Sawm (fasting) is third. So, you should
start praying 5 times a day regularly before Ramadan begins.

•SET ACHIEVABLE GOALS
Plan early and set do-able tasks for Ramadan. Use the Ramadan
Checklist created by Muslim Youth Programme.

•SAVE MONEY FOR CHARITY
Spending money on charity in Ramadan brings alot of reward. So start
saving now!

•SHOP EARLY FOR RAMADAN & EID
Don't waste time in Ramadan shopping. Buy all things you need in advance.

•CLEAN SWEEP THE MEDIA
Delete all songs and movies from your media files to reduce
temptation during Ramadan.

•END HARAM RELATIONSHIP
If you are in a haram relationship, NOW is the time to end it. Otherwise,
it will compromise your relationship with Allah during Ramadan.

NOTE: Another important step in preparing for Ramadan; Make up for the fasts missed in previous Ramadan right now in Rajab and Shabaan. Otherwise they will only pile up every year until a point comes when it becomes extremely difficult to cove up pending fasts.

FINALLY, CELEBRATE THE ARRIVAL OF RAMADAN BY CALLING OTHERS, INVITING YOUR LOVED ONES FOR THE FIRST AFTAAR, AND SENDING OUT GREETINGS..

السلام و علیکم ورحمتہ اللہْ
