Ways of increasing acceptance of your Duas during Ramadan.

If you haven't already made a dua list for Ramadan I highly recommend you make one. I thought it would be helpful to post a template/layout of
how you should make your ad'iyah so that it follows the etiquette of dua:

Narrated Fudalah ibn Ubayd,:
The Prophet heard a person
supplicating during prayer. He did not mention the greatness of Allah,.nor did he invoke blessings on the Prophet .

The prophet said: He made
haste. He then called him and said either to him or to any other person: If any of you prays, he should mention the exaltation of his Lord in the
beginning and praise Him; he should.then invoke blessings on the Prophet.; thereafter he should supplicate Allah for anything he wishes.
(Sunan Abi Dawud 1481)

So begin by praising Allah.
To do this you can recite any dua that praises Allah. I would recommend both Ayatul kursi
And surah Faitha;

Allahu laaa ilaaha illaa huwal haiyul qai-yoom; laa taakhuzuhoo sinatunw wa laa nawm; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; man zallazee yashfa'u indahooo illaa be iznih; ya'lamu maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum; wa laa yuheetoona beshai 'immin 'ilmihee illa be maa shaaaa; wasi'a kursiyyuhus samaa waati wal arda wa la ya'ooduho hifzuhumaa; wa huwal aliyyul 'azeem

Surah Al-Fatiha

Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil

NEXT RECITE DAROOD

Allahumma SalliI Ala Muhammadiw Wa Ala Aali Muhammadin Kamaa Sal’laita Ala Ibrahima Wa Ala Aali Ibrahima Inna’ka Hamidum Majid. Allahumma Baarik Ala Muhammadiw Wa Ala Aali Muhammadin Kamaa Baarakta Ala Ibrahima Wa Ala Aali Ibrahima Inna’ka Hamidum Majid.

Then you can recite some of the ad'iyah that began with "Rabbana" from the Quran. There are 40 you can read from, here are some:

Rabbana zalamna anfusina wa il lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakoonanna minal khaasireen

Rabbana Hablana min azwaajina wadhurriy-yatina, qurrata 'ayioni wa-jalna lil-muttaqeena Imaama

( This dua is for those who want to marry soon or who are already married for a good marriage life)

Rabbanaa laa tuzigh quloobanaa ba'da iz hadaitanaa wa hab lanaa mil ladunka rahmah; innaka antal Wahhaab.

Rabbanaa faghfir lanaa zunoobanaa wa kaffir 'annaa saiyi aatina wa tawaffanaa ma'al abraar.

Rabbanaaa aatina fid dunyaa hasanatanw wa fil aakhirati hasanatanw wa qinaa azaaban Naar.

Rabbanaa wa laa tuhammilnaa maa laa taaqata lanaa bih; wa'fu 'annaa waghfir lanaa warhamnaa; Anta mawlaanaa fansurnaa 'alal qawmil kaafireen.

•Supplicate using the name of Allah that are relevant to your dua. As it is mention in the Quran. "And to Allah belongs to the beautiful names, so invoke Him by them" ( 7: 180)

For example if you are in a need of a job, call to Him
"Ar-Razzaaq" (The Provider)

Then you can make dua for yourself, family, The ummah etc, in whatever language you want.

Remember to make dua for others too:

The Prophet(ﷺ) said:

There is no believing servant who supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence) that the Angels do not say: The same be for you too.( Shahi Muslim 2732 a)

Try to dedicate time after each salah throughout Ramadan to make dua like this, because the dua of the fasting person is accepted. Try not to be hasty with it and also have full
certainty that Allah will grant you what you are asking for.
You should end your dua by again reciting durood and praising Allah then saying "Ameen" at the end.

May Allah help us all. Remember me and the entire Muslim Ummah in your Duas.
