When my back is towards the world,
I still know I'm safe from backstabbers,
It's always us against the world, you say.
When my eyes are heavy and legs numb,
I know you will carry me in your arms,
Because for you I'm the world,
And I know In your arms, I'm safe.
When the darkness comes,
It brings the demons back to life,
They wanna play with my mind.
So you shield me, encasing me where your peace resides,
Allowing my demons to roam with yours.
When giving up is the only choice,
You gave me a breath of strength and support.
Embrace of power,
