Chapter 8

"Where were you?!"

I jumped hearing a familiar sinister voice from behind, all of the happiness that I had felt up to this moment has disappeared

I gripped my collar and slowly turned around to see Kurumi in her dress, sitting in a chair that wasn't in my house before, and she looks pissed

I walk over to her, sat down on my knees in front of her, and set my presents from Origami next to me, I then looked down at the ground

"Well? Answer me, where were you?"

My throat went dry as I started to speak

"I was hanging out with a friend after school.."

"And you didn't tell me before you went, why?"

"I...I was dragged out of the classroom before I could say anything to you.."

"Hmm..."

Kurumi then put her heal on my shoulder, slowly digging into my skin, it hurt but I refuse to make a face, afraid to make her even more angry

"It seems like my kitty can go around and to what she wants without the permission of her master."

I then swallowed the lump in my throat

"I'm sorry RuRu.."

She then lifted her heal off of me and draped the blinds closed, she didn't turn to me when she said her command

"Strip. Now."

Immediately I got up, put the presents on the couch and began to strip off my clothes as fast as possible, a few moments later I was now in the middle of my living room naked, waiting for Kurumi to say her next command

She then walked over to me with something in her hands, there was a glint that caught my eye, it was sharp and shiny

My heart sank when I saw this, she wouldn't do something like that right? Just because I went out for he afternoon, she...she wouldn't kill me for something that minor..right

Kurumi and I were now face to face, I was a bit taller than she is, how did I never notice that? My eyes then widened when I saw a fairly sharp kitchen knife next to my cheek, grazing it

I started to shake as it slowly we down my ching and to my throat stopping s little bit before my shoulder

"You know what I hate most importantly in this world?"

"W-what's that RuRu?"

She then pressed the tip under my chin and gave me a sickening smile

"I hate liars"

I then feel a warm substance dripping down onto me, I look down to see a fairly deep and wide wound on my chest, there was nothing for a moment before the stinging pain erupted through my entire body

I gave out whimpers as she started to slash the skin on my arms and legs, and I had to stand there, blood dripping down my body as cries and whimpers came out of my body

After what felt like an hour, Kurumi stopped and dropped the knife on the ground next to my feet, my body was shaking, not from the cold though, from the pain I was expecting

"Now go, I have no use for you now.."

Kurumi then waved her hand to shoo me away, I stepped back before quickly heading upstairs, but every step that took felt like knives being shot in my body

I basically limped my way to the bathroom and turned on the tub, turn the water warm, I then went over and locked the door to the bathroom, but that won't do anything

I grab the first aid kit that was in under the sink, when that was opened I went over to the tub and turned off the now warm water

It was quietly splashing in the now silent room, I carefully lift myself up and bring myself down in the water, the warm waves hitting my skin making me immediately relax

I stayed in the tub for about thirty minutes, watching as the water stained red from the blood that was flowing into the water

I have gained enough of my strength back, I then pull myself up from the tub and dried myself off, I then went over to the sink and disinfectant all of the cuts Kurumi gave me, it didn't sting as much as I thought it would, I then cover them up with bandage wrap on my arms and legs

And for my chest I gotten the biggest band aid I could find and carefully put it on there

I gave out a sigh and ruffled my hair before putting on a dirty shirt that was in the hamper and trudging my way to the bedroom, I then flopped on the bed, covered myself in the covers and immediately emersed myself in a deep sleep

I was awaken by the sound of my alarm for school going off, I gave out a whimpering groan as the feelings of my wounds screamed at me know that the pain was still there

I slowly got up and turned off my alarm, and slowly got up from the bed, I then look over at the mirror to see that the bandages was a light tinge of red

I assume that the bandages was slowly getting soaked through, I gave out a sigh, I slept like a utter log, but I still feel tired, I slowly walk over to the bathroom and slowly grabbed the first aid kit

I then slowly take off the wraps that I had out on the night before, to see my arms and legs patchy with dried blood and scabs, it oozed with bright red blood and trickles down my legs

I grab the hydrogen peroxide and doused my legs and arms in the stuff, it burned like hell, but I just grit my teeth and bear it I then wrapped myself up with clean bandages

I then walked back to the bedroom and put on my winter PE uniform with my uniform, I then just pulled my fingers through my hair and called it a day

I then walked downstairs to see Kurumi making breakfast as per usual, I walked up and said my good morning to her but she didn't say it back, not that surprising anyway, she doesn't see me as human, just a animal for her to play with

I then felt my phone vibrate, I turn it on to see Origami sent me a text message, I open it to see that she was waiting for me outside

I gave out a smile, grabbed a honeybun and made my way to the front door

"Someone is in a hurry to leave."

I then freeze, I then turn my body to Kurumi

"I'm sorry RuRu.."

She then rolled her eyes at me

"I need you during our break today, and I'll be the one to walk you, understand?"

I then nodded my head

"Good, now go since you are such a hurry to leave"

She then waved her hands at me and I quickly got out of her sight, I quickly put on my shoes and my school bag to meet Origami outside

When I opened the front door, we made eye contact and her eyes ran up and down my body, I then quickly closed the door behind me, I think she could tell that something isn't right with me

"Alex..what happened?"
