Chapter 15

Ever since RuRu let me stay with Origami full time, she has been slowly been trying to get me out of the mindset that RuRu put me in. She first started with my collar, it felt odd with nothing around my neck after all of this time, I would get paranoid thinking that RuRu would be behind me seeing that I didn't have the collar on, she would punish me. I would also get cold fits, my body shivering even though I was warm. 

I also had this habit of me touching my neck I would scratch and pick at my skin to the point where it blead, and there would form dark red and black patches of skin to light to red claw marks all around the neck. My nails would be covered in scabs and blood.

Origami noticed my change in behavior and she suggested that we should watch a movie to calm my nerves. And that is what we are doing now, me and Origami lie there in a comfortable silence as we watched TV, and to be honest, to know that Kurumi can pop in at anytime that she wants because she can use the shadows to teleport, I have recently have been on edge for some odd reason. And I think that Origami had noticed because the grip on my waist tightened slightly, and her thumb was slowly rubbing agents my side. She always does that to comfort me.

"What's wrong? Do you not like the movie?" She whispered in my ear. I shook my head and leaned it on her shoulder, "Thinking about... Kurumi.." I whisper, her name feeling like a bitter taste in my mouth when I didn't use her nickname. "What about her?" she asked me, still rubbing my side with her thumb. "I donno.. I just feel tense for some reason.." I say as I shook my head.

Origami sat there for a moment, probably thinking before getting up and walking away and disappearing into a another room. The movie continued to play in the background as I watched the empty doorway, my hand gravitated to my neck as I started to slightly scratch on my scab, a moment later Origami came back in. I quickly wipe my hands off on my sweater as she approached me.

"I'm sorry that I took off the collar off of you, I thought that would help you." She said as she sat back down on the couch next to me, I look down to see a first aid kit, and something in a box, I look up at her and she was looking at me straight in my eyes.

"Let me clean your wounds for you." She said. I sat there for a moment before nodding and moving towards her, Origami put her stuff down next to her and gently grasped my hips. She sat me on her lap and tied my hair up, exposing my neck with a cool breeze. 

"I'm going to start applying some rubbing alcohol on your neck now." Origami said quietly, I nodded my head as she slowly started to put the cool chemical on the back on my neck, I look down as I picked at the sweater I was wearing, Origami got me it, it is light blue and soft.

I then felt a brush of her fingers on my neck as she touched one of the scabbed scratches, I look behind me slightly, she had a hurt look in her eyes. She then looked up at me and put her hand on my cheek, it was so warm that I leaned into her touch.

"I'm going to put a bandage around your neck." She said quietly as she pulled her hand away from my cheek. I let out a soft whine as she put the box on my lap and started to bandage my neck. I look at the box in my hand, and it looked like it was designer from what the outside looked like.

Origami started to bandage my neck carefully as I opened the box, inside there was red gift paper with black sparkles in them, and in the middle was a black collar with red fur on the inside and little black studs around it. It also had a hoop in the front along with a nametag. Origami's hands stopped bandaging me and her hands rested on my hips. "I know that it is not your original one, but I thought you wanted one that was more comfortable and stylish to wear and look at." She whispered in my ear.

I didn't know why but my eyes filled with tears and a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Now RuRu won't get mad when she sees me not wearing my collar, I hope that she will be happy with this one. I put it on, the fur on the inside making it soft agents the bandages on my neck. I wipe my eyes before looking back at the person behind me.

"I like it, a lot.." I whisper. A smile formed on her face as she pulled me in close to her, I move my body so it was facing hers, I wrap my arms around her back as I snuggle my head in her neck. Origami's hands went from my hips to my thigh and to the back of my neck, playing with the studs of the collar as she quietly comforted me. The movie playing in the background as we sat there holding each other.

I then look up to see her eyes closed as she breathed deeply. She then looked down at me with a slight smile on her face, she used her hand to guide my chin upwards and pressed a soft kiss on my lips. As she pulls away from me we looked in each other's eyes before I pressed my lips agents hers, letting out a sigh. Origami rested her hands on my hips as she pulled me closer slightly, I let out a gasp as she slipped her tongue in my mouth, slowly and sensually deepening the kiss.

I tangle my fingers in your hair as I moved closer, pulling away slightly to give out a breath before going back in for another kiss. After a minute, we pulled away, giving out heavy breaths, putting my forehead agents hers. "Ori... I.." "Shhh... you don't have to say anything..." She interrupted me just to comfort me, her hand going up to my hair, stroking it in a rhythmic motion. "You won't have to worry about Kurumi again, I'll make sure of it.." She whispered in my ear.

I bit my bottom lip as I put my head on her chest, comfort washed over me as her arms protected me as she gave me soft kisses on my forehead and temples as the end credits of the movie rolled and ended.

My eyes grew heavy as I struggled to stay awake, jerking awake every so often. Origami lifted me up from the couch, carrying me to the bedroom where she gently set me on the bed. She pressed a kiss on my lips as she covered me with a blanket. "I'll be back, sleep." She said quietly as she stroked lose hairs out of my face. I let out a soft groan as I let the exhaustion take over, and I fell asleep then and there.
