CHAPTER 17
Naguguluhan siya kaya mas minabuti na lamang niyang umalis roon kaysa ang ma-stress sa bawat salitang lumalabas sa bibig ng binata. Ayaw niyang sumama ang loob niya dahil alam niyang makakasama ‘yon sa bata na nasa sinapupunan niya.
She needs to get away with him. Kahit pa close contact sa kaniya ay hindi niya na gagawin dahil mahirap na. Mahirap na kapag nalaman ni Alexander ang totoo sa kaniya.
ISANG malalim na buntong hininga ang pinakawalan ni Alexander at hinimas niya ang kaniyang sentido.
“Damn, what’s is she talking about?!” he was annoyed.
He walked towards his library and pour some wine in his wine glass as he drank it immediately.
“Fuck, woman…” he mumbled. “You’re making me insane thinking about you these past few days…” he added as he poured a wine again.
As he was drinking his wine, his phone rang and it was one of his guard.
“Ti, Getka?”
He heard Getka’s heaved a deep sigh, he knows that he was nervous.
“Syngnomi, kyrie, alla prepei na petaxete piso sti Rosia...” Sorry, sir, but you need to fly back to Russia.
Kumunot ang noo ni Alexander. “What happened?” he then asked again.
“Some of your establishment was bomb, and we couldn’t find who did it,” Getka replied, cool yet scared.
Kumunot ang noo ni Alexander at kumuyom ang kaniyang kamao.
“Is there any lead who would able to do that?”
Getka heaved a deep sigh. “No lead, sir.”
Ibinaba ni Alexander ang tawag at madaling nag-empake ng gamit niya. He even contacted his pilot and after a couple of minutes, he walked out of his room but glances at Helen’s room near him.
Nagdadalawang-isip siya kung papasok ba siya sa loob ng kwarto ng dalaga at sa huli, naglakad siya patungo sa silid nito at binuksan ang pinto. Natagpuan niyang mahimbing ang tulog ng dalaga, nakatagilid ito.
Alexander ruffled her hair and he couldn’t even stop himself from kissing her temple.
“Sleep well, my lady…” he whispered as he tucked the strand of her hair at the back of her ear.
Hindi maintidihan ni Alexander ang kaniyang nararamdaman sa dalaga. Nagiging territorial siya rito kahit wala naman siyang karapatan. Napailing na lamang siya at umalis sa loob ng silid ng dalaga.
Little he didn’t know, Helen is awake. She’s just pretending to sleep dahil alam na niya agad ang nangyari kung bakit aalis ang binata.
