Epilogue

As the sunset on the day of Helen and Alexander's wedding, the atmosphere is full of good energy and excitement. Her friend, including her co-agents attended her wedding and gathered. Deanne, as her maid of honor. Under a golden scenery of the sunset, the most awaited union of two hearts is going to happen already. The gentle breeze of the wind, carrying the sweetest scent of roses scattered around added additional romantic atmosphere and joy.

Helen, in her radiant and exquisite wedding dress, walked down the aisle. Her heart fluttered with so much emotion as she looked at the man waiting on the altar, her soon to be husband, Alexander. As Alexander stood right in front of the altar, his eyes didn't leave her. Instead, he watched her walking down the aisle and still waiting for her until she reached her final step.

The wedding is grand and extravagant. Only private people are invited. They didn't need to broadcast their wedding. Alexander thinks the safest way. He was so overprotective when it comes to Helen and their unborn child. He knew exactly what he was doing now. He's doing the rule of a diligence of a good father right now and a good husband.

The ceremony is full of love that marked a heartfelt exchange of vows between Helen and Alexander. Promising to each other, that they will stand together no matter what it takes. So, as they embarked a new chapter of their lives, Helen and Alexander knew how to accept each other's lost and mistakes. As they were facing the altar, they put the almighty God as the center of their love.

"Damn, you are so beautiful, my wife..." Alexander whispered as he held her hands.

She looks so fluttered about him telling how beautiful she is. Helen couldn't look away, she wanted to stare at him. His eyes speaks so much emotion. Happiness filled his eyes with a mixture of love in it.

Hindi maikakaila ni Helen na sadyang guwapo ang binata ngayon. Kahit noon pa man, guwapo na ito at hindi niya inaakala na sa pagiging matikas at guwapo nito sa kaniyang paningin, iyon ang dahilan kung bakit siya nabighani.

"Your handsome too," she whispered. "Are you happy?"

Hindi niya maiwasan na tanungin ang binata. Nagbubulungan sila habang nagsasalita ang pari. Walang makakapigil sa bugso ng kanilang damdamin.

"I am beyond happy, my wife..." aniya at hindi binitiwan ang tingin sa dalaga. "I couldn't even express how happy I am... standing beside you, I feel like I am in cloud nine."

Ganoon rin ang nararamdaman ni Helen ngayon. Para siyang nasa ulap at lumulutang sa sobrang kasiyahan. Hindi niya maiwasang hindi mapangiti. Kahit pribado at iilang tao lamang ang kanilang inimbita sa kasal, hindi iyon naging handlang para hindi ituloy ang kasal.

Helen smiled at him.

Alexander stood before Helen, his eyes filled with love and determination. Despite all the trials they had faced, he knew in his heart that she was the one he wanted to spend his life with. He reached out to her, ready to speak his true intentions.

"I will choose you above no one," he trailed off. "I promise to love and respect you. I promise to be a faithful husband and father  to you and to our unborn child."

She was just listening to his vows. Masayang-masaya ang puso ni Helen.

"I am forever devoted to you, cherish you... until we grow old together," Alexander muttered with so much love. "The moment that I've ever laid my eyes on you, I was stuck on you. I can no longer free myself on you. I work dirty and I know for some reason, you can see me as the worst man whoever live but I assure you, I promise you... I will not allow a single sratch harm you, my love."

Tears pooled in Helen's eyes upon hearing how devoted he is to her. She could no longer stop herself from not falling for him even more. Mahal na mahal niya ang lalaking nasa harap niya at hindi na siya makakaahon pa katulad nito.

"I am the worst man you've ever meet but here I am now, I am more than willing to change. For you and for our future family. I promise to love you with all my heart. You will be the only woman whom I will love for the rest of my life."

Alexander can't stop his tears streaming down his face. He cupped Helen's and wiped her tears away. He was staring to a Goddess that he fell in love with.

"I pledge to laugh with you, cry with you, and to be your shoulder in good and in bad times. And with you, I am whole, I am complete. The missing piece of my soul already found yours," Alexander bit his lower lip to suppress his tears, his happiness. "And I promise to love you passionately, and unconditionally 'till the rest of my life."

Absorbing the moment they treasure together, both of them did not waste anytime. Alexander wiped his tears, held her hands and slid the ring on her finger and planted a soft kiss on it.

"With this ring, I'll give you my whole, love..."  he mumbled softly. "My heart, my love, and my life belongs to you. I love you with all my heart, love. I will make you feel the love I have for you. I will always choose you over and over again, love," Alexander said as he ended his vows.

With tears streaming down on her face, Helen took a deep breath and gather all her emotions. She then began her vows, telling him right through his eyes with tears pooled in it.

"Alexander, as I stand beside you, promising you that I will be your faithful wife right in front of God and let these people witness how I truly loved you..." she started with a trembling voice as tears pooled in her eyes.

Helen was stunned to speak but again, she cherishes the moment.

"As I here facing you, my heart is overflowing with love and happiness. I wasn't expecting this wedding to be grand and I am not fond of extravagant things or gifts in my life but as I have you, it's pure and I do deserve this. A life with you is love that symbolizes the bond and fruits between us."

She paused a little bit. She closes her eyes and look down at her feet then once again lift her chin to face him with so much adoration and sincerity.

"I, Helen Amalthea promise to be with you, cherish and love you with all my heart..." Helen uttered sincerely. "I know, we've meet in bad terms but I will still cherish that moment since that's where we started. Alexander, I am not love. I did not experience to be loved but when it was you, I feel like I am in cloud nine. Your love is beyond unconditional and as much as you love me, I promise to love you even more..."

Silence filled the atmosphere. Helen wiped her tears as she held the ring and slid it on his finger and planted a soft kiss, imitating what he did.

"You are worth it, not a worst man who ever live. With this ring, I vow and pledge to be with you, to love you every fiber of my being. Every inch of you will be marked and loved by me. You are the best thing happened in my life and you are the best part my life, my heart, and my everything, agapi mou. I love you so much, Alexander. I will choose you all over again."

Nang matapos ang kanilang sumpaan, hindi na nahintay ni Alexander ang sasabihin ng pari. Tinaggal niya ang belo na nakaharang sa mukha ni Helen at unti-unting inilapit ang kaniyang mukha at hinagkan iyon. Madamdamin at puno ng pagmamahal niyang hinalikan ang labi ng kaniyang kabiyak at tinugon naman iyon pabalik ni Helen.
