Harry's P.O.V
I got a call from Paul telling me I have to go home. He was absolutely pissed. I really don't want to go back, but if he is threatening to call my mom that I'm missing she would probably have a heart attack. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if she did. I don't know what to do with Delilah but I don't want her to roam the streets alone. She didn't even know what a restaurant is, like-
"Where are we going?" Delilah asks making me lose thought. I didn't even realize we were heading to the car until now. We stand in front of the car as she stairs at me with a concerned expression. It makes me feel sad when she is concerned about me, but at the same time I feel really giddy, like I want to break into song. I put my shades and hat, and get in the car.
"Umm, my original house, well it's an apartment, I have 4 other friends there and they were worried about me so we are going back. But don't be worried they are very nice." I say bringing the car to life and backing out of the parking lot. I hope they don't get mad if I bring her. I will just have to explain. They are a sucker when it comes to girls. She's too innocent for them though. So I have to be over protective. Or I can take her back to her original home. After a moment of what seems like her thinking I decide to speak up.
"Unless you don't want to come, I can take you to your original house if you'd like." I say slowly. She shakes her head quickly and looks at me. She smiles at me. God that smile...
"No it's ok. I wanna meet your friends. I'm not ready to go back home, but maybe in a couple of days. Freedom feels nice." She says looking out the window. I can tell she like the city by the way she's always looking out the window, like she's hypnotized.
"You never told me what a picture was." She says with her head tilted to the side. I laugh and glance at her. She's looking out the window again.
"People have these things called cameras. It basically captures the moment that you take and saves it. I have a camera on my phone and I just aim the little lens on something and click a button and it captures the moment." I say pointing to my phone. She just makes a 'hmmm' noise. She picks up my phone and looks at it. The fact that she's so clueless is cute. I'm glad that I would be the first to show her most of the things she has never seen in her life, let alone herd of one.
"Here we are." I say pulling up on the hotel driveway. It's pretty expensive but I'm not the one playing for it. My managers are. That's one of the perks of being famous. Delilah has yet to know that I'm famous and I'm not planning on telling her anytime soon. I know I'm just digging a deeper hole for myself but what can you do. She gets out of the car and looks up at the building with awe. I place my hand on her lower back to guid her inside. She doesn't flinch this time. That's progress. I guide her toward the elevator. I click the button for the elevator to come.
"What is this?" She ask when the doors open. Right, I forgot she doesn't know these stuff. It's gonna get some getting used to explaining everything.
"This is called an elevator. It brings you from floor to floor faster." I say stepping inside. She stays on the outside and looks at me with frowned eyebrows.
"Is it scary?" She says shyly. I chuckle loudly and shake my head.
"No it's not I promise. It's a short ride." She sighs loudly and walks in. I click the button for the 20th floor and we start moving up. She grips onto the handle bars with a great force.
"You can relax. You won't get hurt." I say looking at her grip around the bar. She follows my glair and realizes she's griping the bar a little harshly.
"Right, I'm sorry." She says letting go. And crossing her arms.
"There is nothing to be sorry-" I get cut off by the elevator opening. Other people get in the elevator. I look up to see the number and it says 15. Ok we're not there yet. It's always super awkward when other people get stuck in the elevator with some stranger. There is an elderly lady glaring at me. I just wave and look away to wait for our floor to come.
