Delilah's P.O.V

"Delilah wake up" I hear someone say, but I don't acknowledge it. I was too tired to.

"Come on your gonna be late" the voice says again, shaking me this time. I groan and turn on my stomach.

"5 more minutes." I say sloppily. The voice giggles and I can feel a weight be lifted off of the bed.

"Ok whatever you say. I guess you will miss your first day of camp." At that moment I jump out of bed and run to my closet.

"Why didn't you just tell me that before!" I say in a loud and teasing voice. I'm not really tired anymore.

"I tried to but you wanted to keep sleeping so..." My mom says with a smile. I shake my head smiling as well.

"Your right I'm sorry." I say putting my hands up in surrender. My mom laughed and walks out of my room. I find my black skinny jeans and a nice tank top. I bought these jeans and tank at the store and I think I look good in skinny jeans. I quickly put them on and rush downstairs to eat breakfast before I leave.

"How am I supposed to get there?" I ask my mom when I see her in the kitchen looking at a newspaper.

"About that. It's not that far so you might need too take your bike sometimes, I can drive you when it's bad weather. I'm sorry. I will drive you today though." She says in a sad tone. I nod my head and grab and apple out of the bowl.

"It's ok more exercise for me." I say and she smiles. I smile back and take a bite of my apple. I honestly don't mind riding my bike. It's more freedom for me. Also riding my bike gives me a sense of happiness. Plus I need recovering of what happened a couple days ago. My face turns into a frown.

"Anyways whenever your ready tell me, we will get going." I look at the time and it's 6:13. I nod my head and go upstairs to grab my bag and phone. I go back downstairs and put my shoes on.

"I'm ready now." I say to my mom who just finished putting on her shoes too. She nods and grabs her keys.

"I like that bag where did you get it?" My mom says and I stop. My eyes grow wide and I have a huge lump in my throat. I'm not a good lier but I can always try.

"I umm..bout it when I was away." She smiles at me like she knows something. I scratch the back of my neck and continue walking to the car.

"Well, it's really nice." My mom says while getting in the car. I smile at her awkwardly. Phew.
The rest of the car ride is quite besides the sound of the engine running. We make it there in less than 15 minutes which is good news for me. She parks and I get out of the car.

"By sweetheart I hope you have fun and make friends." My mom says waving at me. I wave back at her and start walking to the entrance. I'm actually kind of nervous because I haven't been around a lot of people before. Not like this at least. I take a deep breath and walk threw the gate.

"Welcome!" I hear a lady say approaching me. I smile and she shakes my hand and gives me a hug. That was unexpected.

"Hello! Welcome to camp creative! I hope you make friends and enjoy yourself! My name is Mrs. Sams' but you can call me Bella!" She says nicely. I smile and nod trying to remember her name.

"My name is Delilah, Delilah Ford." I don't really like it when people know my last name but I feel like I can trust her. She nods with a bigger smile on her face.

"I know exactly who you are! Your so lucky you got the last spot in the camp! Now go and make friends!" She said without ever loosing her smile. I smile and nod while walking away to the camp. As I walk in I can't help but to notice people doing there own thing already. Some playing guitar. Some singing. Some dancing. Some drawing. This place is amazing. It feel comfortable in this place. Now I just need to make friends with someone. Right when I think that someone walks up to me.

"Hello! My name is Anna rose! And I couldn't help but notice that you looked lost. Are you new to this camp." I was taken aback by her sudden burst of energy and lack of warning but I find her amusing. I not my head and she smiles. Before I know it she's grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the people.

"Where are we going?" I ask before we can walk further. She turns around and smiles at me.

"I'm showing you around so you don't get lost. If you ever have questions make sure to ask me." I nod and she nods back continuing to pull me. We don't go much further until she turns around again.

"I'm so sorry but I didn't get your name!" She says looking at me waiting patiently.

"My name is Delilah." I say and her eyes go wide. And she smiles more.

"Like the song! 'Hey there Delilah!' I love that song!" She says loudly. I couldn't help but think of Harry when she said that. Harry...

"Yah I've heard that before." She giggles and nods her head.

"Yah, I bet you have." With that she turns around again and pulls me closer to the people.

"Anyways Delilah. Let me show you around. Here on the right are people that have musical talent. Such as music writing, instrument playing, and singing." I nod my head and she looks at me and waits for me to take it in. I smile and nod for her to go on and she does.

"And on the left is the artistic people. Such as people who paint and draw." She says stopping again. I nod my head and she continues. She continues forward to the last category.

"And this is the creative people. Such as people who write books, knit, or sew." She says and I nod my head again.

"Don't really talk much do you?" She says smiling. She didn't say it like she was annoyed. It was more of a question.

"Yah I'm sorry I just don't do good around people." I blush itching the back of my neck. She smiles at me.

"That's what I'm here for." She says nudging my sides. I laugh and she laughed too. I like her she's easy to get along with.

"Anyways let me show you where we eat our lunch and maybe even dinner if we stay later." She says pulling me before I can reply. We make it to a huge building with a bunch of tables.

"You can sit with me at lunch." She says smiling at me. I smile and nod back at her.

"So what section are you in?" I ask her feeling the need to start a conversation with her. Her smiles grows bigger and she starts to walk out of the door. I follow her waiting for her answer.

"Well I'm glad you asked! I'm in the musical section! I sing!" She says proud of herself. I smile and nod.

"I'm in the music section as well. I play instruments." I say blushing. I don't like bragging about myself but I am in camp creative after all.

"Really! Like what instruments?"  I smile again at the list I have. I have a lot of free time at home so my mom buys me music books to learn instruments and the instruments to go with it.

"Umm... Guitar, piano, violin, and flute are the ones I'm best at." (I play violin irl. Just thought I should brag a little since we are on the topic ;D) I said to her looking from the ground to her face. Her eyes and smile gets wider after I said that.

"That's really amazing!" And with that she drags me to the music section to watch the people sing.
