Vikram's pov:
Nidhi said that she is gona be here in 10 minutes.
I was waiting for her at the front porch leaning onto my car and scrolling my phone.
I dont know how would my parents will react after meeting her , she is kinda open type and she tells what she feels directly without caring, Mostly its about her preference and all about few things , if she doesn't want something she wont even consider its existence and if she wants something, she is adamant about getting it at any cost , for which we fought few times, but it ended up in me giving up; which my mom actually dont like about, being soo picky about materialistic things , but what to do , she grew up like a princess . May be she will change.,lets see,what will happen.
When i was thinking about this someone shook me, i looked up , nidhi was standing in front of me with a bright smile.
I smiled looking at her and held my arm sideways,she locked her arm around mine.
"Ready?" I asked
She nodded in agreement and we walked inside.

Author's pov:
Nidhi went and hugged mahalakshmi and vinod.
N: "hi aunty, hi uncle, finally we are meeting. Its so good to see you!" She said and handed mahalakshmi a gift bag.
For which both smiled and wished her back.
M: "come dear its getting late,lets have lunch first." Mahalakshmi said .
All sat on the dining table and mahalakshmi started serving them, when nidhi said,
N: aunty, why dont u sit and have ur lunch! It wont look good while u serve and i eat.
M: "if i too sit down who will serve u all ? And wont ur mom also serve you while u eat , u are my kid too ." Mahalakshmi said with a warm smile.
N: " why will my mom serve, we have servents at home! " Nidhi said it as a matter of fact. Which dint go well with
Mahalakshmi.
Covering her grim she smiled again and said,
M: "its ok dear, i like to cook and sevre for my husband and son by myself, now i will serve u also" which made vikram happy as he felt that his mother took nidhi's words litely.
All had their lunch and vikram showed nidhi around the house .
Vikram took nidhi upstairs showing her the balcony in the first floor beside his room, connecting to his room balcony.
V: this is my favourite spot. No one usually comes here, i wont let any one come here though, its kinda my private spot, my own space.
I like to spend time here.
Now its yours too , saying he kissed her cheek. For which she blushed lightly.

He held her by her waist and was about to kiss her when a voice startled him, they both jumped in thir place and stepped back. From eachothers, as if someone caught them.
M : Vikram , come down " mahalakshmi called for them. Sighing, he gestured ger to go down .

All sat down in the living room and were talking to each other asking nidhi about her future plans and all, when daksh entered ,
D: hello guys , im back.
Vik: Hi back!😆
D: P .J.,
so, all good?
I think , nidhi, u dont have to go back to ur home anymore, maha aunty will any how disown us in sometime,as she got her daughter-in-law now, and anyhow, u dont have to wait till ur marriage now to stay here." He said laughing.
Everyone smiled at his words.
N: "no no, why would I stay here after marriage, me and Vikram will stay in our house na, "she said smiling.
Which made others smile vanish
Vik: what are you talking nidhi? He asked in a not again tone.
N: ha , u know right, i like to live alone with you after marriage.
Vik: and y do you think so, that i will move out when we already had this discussion many times?
Sensing the heat of the situation, vinod held maha's palm to calm her and he said, its ok children, u should have your own home after marriage, i feel that it will surely make u more responsible in ur lives.Do one thing , start searching for a good house of ur choice both of u.
What do u say maha? Lastly her turned towards mahalakshmi and asked squeezing her plam, indicating her that it will all be good.
Mahalakshmi nodded with a slight smile.
Vik:but nanna, i dont wnt to...
Interrupting him vinod said.
V:" come on vicky u have to take responsibility of the people's safety next, and this will surely help u to become more responsible in future."
He said it in a" thats final" tone. To which vikram nodded in a defeated way.
M:"come children, its sweet time." Saying she gave paayasam to everyone.
D:"wow , paayasam, my favourite. Love u aunty, u r the best in making it."
M: what on earth is not you favourite, tell me." She said teasing.
D: "aunty, u need to support me, remember, we are a team." He whinned
M: as u said , i disown you , me and my daughter -in-law are a team now." Saying she sat beside nidhi .
M: god bless you dear, im happy that u are going to be a part of our family."she said placing her palm on nidhi's cheek, to which nidhi smiled widely.

Bidding bye to all nidhi left.
Asking vikram to be on time for dinner at her place.
