When the moon is at the right height,
right size and glow.
The creatures of the night,
will howl for all to know.

The night of the Full Moon

It was cold. I could barley flinch my fingers, or I didn't want to move them thinking they might
shader off the bone. I tugged my blankets to my chest and curled up on my bed. My clock pounded
12:47. I rustled around to the other side with my hand up by my head in a blocking motion. The
dim glow of the numbers was my only way of vision. I tried to go to sleep but I rejected it quickly
as soon as a white glow crept through my window. It heaved itself upon my window pane and
stumbled into my bedroom. I quickly raised my head, my long, thin hair trailing behind me then
peacefully wrapping at my waist, and used my hand as a kickstand. I followed the beautiful beam
climb up my wall, until there was a space where a girl's silhouette was. Me. I felt different, like I
was getting hotter.I threw the blankets off my legs and stood strait up. I peered around and
there it was. The moon. What a great sight, a wonderful size and glow. My legs slid off the side of
the bed and my silk shorts rolled down to its regular length. I stood in aw at this magnificent
sight. My tang-top fell loose as I walked to my window. The lock on the window was a rusty gold
and hardly shimmered at all. I grabbed it and pulled. Thud. How useless. I opened the mirror of
light and dark. The breeze blew in sending my hair in an ocean wave. I placed my hand on the iced
wood that plastered the window to the house. I raised my foot to the cold wood pane and smirked.
I leapt forward. The rising wind blew up my tang-top and shorts giving me sweet chills. I landed
on the ground my hair covering the sides of my face. I still could feel the smirk, as I raised my
head, reviewing my glowing blue eyes. And I pushed off of my back paw and ran. Ran until I
reached the edge of the woods. I heaved for air and gazed at the trees. I waited for a quick minute
and then those eyes came through. Then the rest of the body. His brown fur was luscious with
hints of gold shined through. He walked with confidence towards me. He circled me, his fur
blowing beautifully against the wind. He then came close so that our fur were intertwining, his
brown and gold with my white. He gave me a shove, which threw me off guard and I fell
to the earth making a huge thud as my huge car sized body fell to the ground. His hair bounced
side to side as he zigzagged to the edge of the woods. He turned his head and gazed at me with his
emerald eyes. I stood up and shook off the dirt and glanced at him. His eyes lightened and he
motioned for me to follow. I gladly did.
