Kiiiiiiiik!

The train lights shut off suddenly as the subway train shook loudly, metal scraping against metal could be visible heard from inside the cubicle. Screams can be heard throughout the subway.

"AHHH!"

"W-what's happening?!"

"Is it a terrorist attack?!"

The little boy that sat next to me instinctively held onto me as I held his shoulder to keep him from falling off of the seat. I stood up from my seat as the little boy stuck to my side like glue. The subway was dark, and it was hard to see. The subway doesn't usually stop so suddenly…

"Hey kid, are you alright?" I asked him, making sure he is alright.

The boy nodded, I let go of his shoulder now that the train had stopped.

"Kid, what's your name…?" I asked the boy next to me. I looked at him as he grabbed the side of my trench coat.

"Lee Gilyoung…" He muttered.

"Well, Gilyoung, I'm [Name] [Last name] … I'll make sure you get home safe after this is over." I said, putting a hand on his shoulder. He nodded.

I looked around the subway, taking in the area, accidentally bumping into someone.

"Sorry." I looked at the person.

"It's–... alright." He paused. He seemed shocked for some reason. He just stared at me in awe.

It was weird

"The hell are you looking at…" I muttered, sending him a slight glare. He looked away quickly.

'Okay… that was weird.' I thought, looking away from him.

I kept my arm around Gilyoung, keeping him from leaving my side. Suddenly, a startled voice came over the intercom;

"Ladies and gentlemen, your attention please..!" The man sounded like he was on the brink of tears. He continued.

"Please, evacuate… Evacuate–!!"

BEEEEP—!

A flash of red light appeared at the front of the subway train.

[The main scenario will begin now.]

I looked towards the front of the subway to see the flashing red light.

The hell…

MURMUR

MURMUR

"... A dokkaebi?" A woman next to me said.

"Sorry?" The man I bumped into earlier asked, confused.

"Look." She pointed at the red light.

MURMUR

MURMUR

"What is that?" I heard someone say.

POOF

I blink to see a floating poof ball with horns on its head, taking place instead of the light. I blankly stared at the being in front of everyone.

The thing cleared its throat before speaking gibberish.

「&#@!&#@!」

「@&#!#@&!」

"What's that thing saying?" A girl spoke.
