He's from a very rich family who's very influential in Liyue! Ever since he was a kid he was very interested in expeditions and getting to learn more about other cultures! But his very special interest was astrology! So he made it his life goal to travel all of tevat and get to know more about all kinds of people! Sadly his family was killed by the Fatui. He was the only one surviving so he had to take over the family business. All his life he was treated like a prince and now he had to stand there by himself. It took him years to finally get things right so he could actually start travelling. The only person he ever trusted after what happened to his family was his servant, Fen. He was his biggest supporter and was always on his side. He called Sydos Prince because he saw him as a prince. Sydos wanted to know more about the sky and the stars. He knew something was wrong about it but he couldn't get the hang about what is was. Like Scaramouche said "the sky, the stars, it's all a big lie" but Sydos didn't know in what way.
