Chapter 5

"It even has pictures, Gel. Who would even drop that low? That's not even true!" I was pacing back and forth beside my bed. My foot was making footsteps on my hard, wooden floor. I looked at the comments and it even made my heart tremble stronger than it is already doing.

"Na contact kona sila Clarisse. They took it down already. Kalma Lucas" I have already seen what everyone has to say.

"Sya yung president ng club deba?"

"Deba A-lister yan? Kahiya naman"

"Woah, that's unexpected"

"I don't know Gel. I've never been in any fiasco before. I'm sweating. I'll call you later when I calm down" Di ko inintay ang sasabihin nya at binaba kona. I was sitting on the side of my bed, head hung low. Ayaw kong hindi gumraduate, I've never had anything like this before. What if they give me violations?

My phone vibrated. It was my adviser.

"Nak we need to talk with the office tomorrow. Be there before 10" 

Is that really this serious? My palm is sweating profusely. I mean di pa naman napatunayan na kinuha ko ah? But shit kami lang yung tao sa building. So the accountability is none but ours.

Jay Calling

"...Hi" I breathed hard before I said that. "I got an email, punta daw sa school. Are you okay?" "Yeah. Im.. I dont know. I dont know" "San ka? Puntahan kita" He said that with complete certainty. "No need. Its not your fault anyways. Jeez nakakainis" I was scratching my head continuously.

So what now? Im going to be spending my break in detention? Am I going to be suspended? Ano gagawin ko. "You aren't, calm down Luke" I'm thinking too much I didnt realize I was whispering to myself again. I pressed the end call button before he heard more of me.

I feel dizzy. I opened my bedside drawer to get my little dino lamp. I rolled on my bed, pillows and my thick blanket around me. I was sliding my fingers in Dino's long neck as he glowed in the brightest green. Di na sya tumutunog like gaya ng dati kayat ang pumapasok na tunog lang sa tainga ko ay ang messeges na paulit ulit tumutunog.

I checked my phone to see just Jakob spamming me.

"Are you there? Answer please"

I put my phone to silent mode and didn't know how long I just laid in my bed. My upper body was hugging the bed frame and I just looked at Dino and the stars on my ceiling back and forth until I fell asleep. I don't know when. I just don't want to think about anything. Never in my life I've been put through this much anxiety. I wish mom and dad were here.

"KOYYYYYYYYYYY!" No alarm clock can beat the loudness of the boy's blaring mouth. His voice even broke. If not for annoyance, my laughter would wake me up. My phone did not alarm today, did I also turn it to silent mode? I usually wake up at 6 but there's no rings this morning. Am I late?

I stood up and pulled my blinds and it was still pitch black. My phone said it's 4:12 AM.
I didn't bother putting my clothes on because I'm still a little dizzy. I paced my white wood stairs and into the door. "KOYY-" I pulled the door to see him in his rugger hair, and school uniform.

"Ngayon ka lang umuwi? Ano yang dala mo?" I was still sleepy. "Bat naka boxer ka lang, malamig" He immediately entered, closed the door and placed his bag on my couch and his paper bag on the table. Hinubat nya yung makapal na sweater nya at binalot sa balikat ako,

"Naka T-shirt naman ako ah, ginawa mo pa akong sabitan ng coat" "Baliw ka ang lamig lamig. Bihis ka" I rubbed my eyes but just followed and grabbed my pajama upstairs. Pagbaba ko, nalabas na nya sa paper bag yung dala nya.. It was pares and mami.
