Sixteen.

Another lighting bolt flashes and thunder rolls across the sky. Suddenly there was screaming, or more like shouting. It was the sound of a man shouting at the top of his lungs.

Then a third bolt of lightning struck the ground, and Voldemort appeared with two of his Deatheaters following along.

Draco made a decision, "Run!"

Both young Draco and Hermione, and the time-traveler ran as fast as they could to a tall tower not too far away. They all ran up the steps, the time-traveler following the two young ones.

They had to stop, they had reached the point of no return and no more steps to take, literally. Young Hermione becomes completely frightened at the thought of what was going to happen next. Draco had to make another decision,

"I know what has to be done, but I don't like it"

Young Hermione is full of worry, "What? What has to be done?"

"You won't like it. Or remember it.."

"No. No, Draco please there has to be another way.."

"THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!!"

Both of their eyes begin to fill so quickly that the sensitivity hits the time-traveling Hermione. Draco continues to speak until the next bolt strikes.

"I have to do this Hermione...."

Draco whips out his wand, with a tear in his eye.

"Draco, what's happened to you?"

"You want to know what happened to me?!" his hands begin to shake with tension and fear. "You happened to me."

They stare at each other, but then another bolt hits the ground and the Dark Lord is starting to climb the tower itself.

"With this wand, I erase your memory. As well as anyone who may be involved with this battle, for only I shall remember you in this way. In this state of affections.."

"Draco.... Please..."

"I love you Hermione"

"I love you too"
