A New Adventure {Book Three}

Thirteen Years Later..

Five.

The time has come for the next generation of witches and wizards to take their turn at Hogwarts.

All Weasleys, Potters, a Longbottom and a Malfoy were filing onto the Hogwarts Express from Platform Nine 'n Three-Quarters.

Hermione stood happily beside Draco, with their twelve year old son, Scorpius, and their nine year old daughter, Eliza.

Scorpius was placed in Ravenclaw. You can say that the house of Ravenclaw could be seen as a tie in between Slytherin and Gryffindor. Which Hermione and Draco were both in agreement of accepting.

While their daughter, Eliza, still had a few years until she would be placed within the categories of a house in Hogwarts.

Aside from all of the shouting and whistling, a certain someone picks out a piece of imagination for the next few moments of time:

Draco thinks back to the last decade or so, he remembers the moments that his two children were born. Remembering all of the laughing, the crying, the boo-boos, and the mishaps with wand training and spell casting in the basement.

He recollects on the days of his life that he would crouch down to help his children back up, and thinking in comparison to how his father never would.

Or even the months that he spent taking his own family and his mother on vacations to places all over.

Yet, while thinking in comparisons, he also remembers the day that he lost his father.

It was after the end of the war, and after he had walked away with his mother. Far away from Hogwarts, leaving Hermione and all of his new friends. He came back to her anyhow, and it was the last time that Draco ever really did want to leave her side.

It was summertime, he remembers. In the same year of Voldemort's true death. His father was put on trial for his works as a Deatheater, and for being one of the head followers, was supposed to be sentenced to death. Instead, Luna Lovegood came in and suggested for him to be imprisoned in Azkaban. It was said that within the next year after his sentence, he was overdosed with sleeping pills and then came the end of his story.
