Prologue
London, November 8th, 1705
"Push!"
The woman cried as she gripped her husbands hand with a deathly grip, the her hair was sticking to her forehead due to the sweat
"You're almost there just one more" the doctor told the woman, she let out a loud scream before the cries of a baby filled the room
The doctor held the baby with the help of the nurse, they looked in horror a the sight in front of them, the nurse muttered a soft "oh god" as she covered her mouth, the husband noticed this and let go of his wife's hand
"What is wrong?" The husband asked the doctor, he looked at the husband nervously, the nurse looked so scared that she looked like she was about to faint, the husband got inpatient and walked towards the doctor to see the baby, as soon as he set eyes on the baby his eyes widened in surprise
"What the hell" he muttered, he looked at the woman then back at the baby, the woman lifted her head a little to try to see what was wrong
"What is wrong with my baby" she asked, the doctor, nurse, and husband looked at her uncertainly
The doctor finally brought the baby to the woman, the woman smiled in excitement, but that excitement quickly faded once she saw the baby
It was a baby girl, and although it was a beautiful baby, it wasn't her beauty that shocked the people in the room, it was the brown feathered wings that were on her back, almost as large as her body, and the small dark claws in her fingertips
The woman held her baby in shock, she opened her mouth to say something but no words came out, she just stared at the baby, who was still crying
Once the woman came into her senses, she brought the baby towards her, carrying it in her arms as she bounced her softly, trying to shush her, after a few minutes the baby calmed down, she slowly fell asleep, the woman looked at her daughter as she slept, the smiled softly in adoration as she caressed her face, she moved her hands towards her wings, the felt the soft feathers and her smile didn't fade
She didn't know what led to this, but she knew she loved he daughter very much
