"ERROR!" I yell out. Error runs off and I launch myself at the screen door. Blue wakes up and tries to stop me but I manage to get outside and run as fast as I can after Error. "Error!" I yell again. He can't be gone. He can't be. And I'm going to find him no matter what it takes! I mean how hard can being a forest cat be?

And with that thought on my mind determination in my heart and an iron will. I set off into the forest to go and find Error and prove myself to him. I'll even catch him mice and be the perfect mate for him.

I mean how hard can this be?

~————————A couple Days Later—————-~

It. Has. Been. Very. Hard.

It has been extremely hard being a forest cat. I forgot a very key detail about being a forest cat. That they know how to hunt and I do not, not to mention that there is very little prey out in the forest. I haven't eaten in days but I won't give up, I can't, I need to find Error and prove myself.

But... it's oh so tempting to just go back home, back to my bed and food that I get on a daily basis. Oh and the naps in the sun by the window! That Error and I fought for... am I the reason he left home? Is it because I fought with him about the sunny spot or the toy mice? Should I even go looking for him?

But then I hear it. A small rustling noise coming from the bushes. I crouch down and try to blend in watching the bush carefully. And a little mouse skittered out, I lunge and manage to catch it. I kill it swiftly so I don't have to hear it's pained squeaks much longer. I carefully start to eat the mouse and enjoy its flavor, I've never had anything like this back in the house before it was incredible!

"So first taste of mouse huh house cat?" A familiar voice asks me. I turn around looking for him, did he find me? Or did I find him? Either way I'm just happy I get to hear that grumpy voice again. "Error! Error oh I'm so glad to hear your voice again!" I shout out into the forest. I wait for an annoyed or angry hiss or even a peeved scoff like he used to do around me. "Error...?" I ask into the forest hoping for a response.

I sigh and start to walk away. It was just in my head again, I was only thinking I heard his snarky comment. I wish I could just stop imagining these things and find him already, but maybe I should just give up and go home. The Error in my head was right. I'm not a forest cat and never will be, no matter how hard I try. I should just give up.

"Now where are you going house cat?" Error asks. I sigh and lay down on the soft grass letting the smells wash over me. "I'm going home... I'm not cut out for this forest cat life, your right and always will be right Error. I'm just a house cat and nothing more." I say to the Error in my head. "But" I yawn "I'll be heading back after I take a quick nap... I can't stay awake any longer..." I mumble to myself as I drift asleep.

~—————————-Errors POV————-——--~

I watch the house cat fall asleep. I land in front of of him and he doesn't stir, I sniff him to make sure it's actually the house cat I was forced to be with and not some other cat with an annoying voice. But it really was that damn house cat. How did he even get this far? I mean I did start following him after I saw him going past wolf territory with no problem. And here he was, sleeping right in front of me. Not even taking cover under a bush.

"How stupid are you house cat..." I mumble to myself. Then I start to sniff him a bit more, smells like he's been up for days and hasn't gotten a bit of sleep. Probably trying to find me. Why did he want to find me? I'm a forest cat I don't belong in a house, I belong in the wide open spaces away from some cling-

That's why he followed me.

He wants to be my mate. That's why he wants to be with me! He's trying to get me to be his mate! The audacity! But... he did come all thing way and that's impressive for a house cat, even an annoying one like him. I groan and grab him by the scruff and drag him home. If he's going to be this persist and it'll at least be in my own territory.

~————————-Many Hours Later—————-~

I slowly wake up and see Error sleeping near me. I panic and run out of the place we were in. I calm down and look around me seeing that it's a little clearing in a large bush area. I walk around and hunker close to the ground in case some prey shows up. It seems to be around 4 maybe 5 in the morning and I blend in with my surroundings perfectly. I see a large bird land down in the clearing and I slowly stalk closer to it watching its every move.

It lowers its head to pick something off of the ground and I strike. After a long battle I managed to kill it, I hope Error will be proud of me for doing something like this. Speaking of Error he walked out of the bush and just stared at me. "It is too early for hunting you better have a good reason for waking me up this early house cat!" He hissed. I trot over to him and show him the large bird i caught. "Bird!" I say, although it was pretty muffled.

Error starts to laugh as he falls onto his back. I drop the bird and rush over to him and start to sniff him seeing if something is wrong. "Error? Error are you ok?" I ask. He finally calms down and says "Oh I'm fine house cat but that kill right there is pure luck. First off you were down wind, he could probably smell you a mile away. Second you were very loud you need to get better at that." Error criticized.

I nod and give him the bird, he takes it and drags it into the den. "Now go to sleep house cat! You'll need your sleep for later on today! We're going hunting!" Error shouts. I walk in after him into the den before he pushes me out. "Oh no no no. You are not sleeping in here with me house cat. You can find your own little area in here to sleep in. Alright? Alright." He says.

I walk away and try to find a little den to call my own when I find a small tunnel leading to a medium-ish sized den. I walk in and look around smelling everything I can to see if I actually like the place. And I do! I found my own den and I can really start to call this place home once I get used to it. I'm glad Error giving me a chance but he's right I should get to bed.

So I lay down on a soft mossy Area and fall asleep. Waiting for the morning when Error is going to go and teach me how to hunt. And with that thought on my mind I gently start to dream.
