It had been about a week since I started to live in the forest with Error. He had taught me how to hunt and how to stay down wind from the prey. And how to climb the trees and get down without getting hurt. We were eating the mice I caught when he asked. "So how did you even get that name?"

"Oh! Well Blue gave it to me." I said before going back to eating. "No no. I mean why did he call you Reaper?" Error asked. I look down at my food and start to explain. "The humans I was born with didn't like me all that much since I was the runt of the litter. So they decided to take me far far away from home and throw me in a dumpster. I was crying for my mom since I was so hungry. But then Blue found me and took care of me. Gave me a nice home a warm bed and lots of food." I finished.

I kept eating the mouse while Error just stared at me. "Something wrong?" I ask. He shakes his head and walks off. And I decide that tonight is the night that I ask him to be my mate. So I need to get him something really nice so I can impress him. I walk into his den and sit down. "Hey Error? What's something that you've always wanted to try?" I ask.

"I've always wanted a whole fresh chicken." He said. I thank him and walk away. I've seen a few farms around the area and decided that, that would be a good place to start. So I head out of the woods and to the farms.

After a few hours I saw the biggest plumpest chicken I have ever seen. But the problem is that the chicken lives on the farm the farthest away from where Error lives. But I cast that thought aside and attack it. I manage to kill it and to drag it over the large fence. Keeping the chicken secured in my jaws I ran as fast as I could back home. "ERROR!" I call my voice muffled.

Luckily Error heard me because when he came out the look on his face was priceless. I drop the chicken on the ground infront of him a goofy smile on my face and ask "Error, will you be my mate?" He just looked at me awe struck, picked up the chicken and walked away. I sit down and sigh. Maybe it was a bad idea to try and ask Error to be his mate after all.

I went to my little cave and curled up on my moss covered rock ready to fall asleep. Tomorrow would be a new day and everything could just be like it was before tonight. I was about to fall asleep when I felt something hit my head. I looked up and saw Error scowling at me from the entrance of my little cave. "Are you going to help me finish this or what?" He snarled. I follow him outside and start to eat the chicken.

"I'll decide if you get to stay or leave tomorrow house cat. So eat your fill." Error spat. I nod and keep eating the chicken feeling Error glare daggers at me the entire time. I might as well just say goodbye and head home after helping eat this chicken. I stop when I'm full and go to the little cave and fall asleep on the rock waiting for tomorrow when I have to leave.

Of course the morning did come and I didn't even wait for Error to come out of his den I knew his answer. I got out of the little cave and went to the middle of the thicket area we- I mean he lives in. I took in the sights of it one last time and took a nice deep breath and let all of the smells wash over me one last time. I walk out of the thicket and walk away not looking back.

I'm just a house cat. I don't belong in the forest. But Error does. And he deserves someone that can actually help him survive out in the forest. Not some lap cat.

I keep on going until I get to a part of the woods that smelled very dangerous.

~—————————-Errors POV——————-——~

I had woken up feeling very refreshed which happens rarely. But something just felt wrong. So I stepped out of my den and looked around seeing if I could find Reaper anywhere. But I couldn't see him anywhere. So I looked in his den and there was still nothing. Then it hit me.

He left.

"That idiot!" I screeched. I ran out of the thicket looking for him. Any sign of him that there might me I would take. "House Cat!" I called out. Hoping to hear a something. Anything of his that I could find would do. But I do find something, and it's not the something I wanted to find. Blood.

I run forward and see him laying on the grass barely breathing, his entire body stunk like a wolf. I consider just leaving him and returning home, I could just forget about him and leave him for some scavenger to pick up. But then I remember last night and that dopey grin when he brought me the chicken And asked me to be his mate.

I grab him by the scruff and drag him back to my den I grab some herbs to help stop the bleeding. But that's when I notice something missing. He was missing one of his front legs. He'll barely be able to hunt. I should just leave him outside. He's not worth it. I go to grab his scruff but then I remember that stupid smile. And then I start to think back to when I first met him.

He wanted to be friends. To be able to trust each other and know each other better. But I couldn't handle being a house cat so I left, I didn't expect him to follow me after I was watching him one night I'll admit that. But, I'm kind of glad that he did follow me it's been nice showing him the forest and teaching him how to hunt. And if I get rid of him then it's just a waste of my time.

I drop his scruff and start to put some very absorbent moss on his leg. And I think I know why that two leg named him Reaper. It's because he's met the grim reaper and survived. And I'm sure as hell not letting Reaper meet his fate just yet.

~———————A Long While Later——————-~

I woke up to familiar smells and a very familiar grassy wall. "H-how did I..." I croak out. "Hey shut it! You need to rest! You've been badly injured so you need to rest." A familiar voice hisses. I look behind me and sure enough Error is right behind me glaring at me. "Error? What happened..? I was heading home after last night and... I can't remember the rest it's all so fuzzy..." I mumble.

Error sighs and lays next to me. "You were attacked by wolves Reaper." He said. "W-Wolves? B-bu- wait did you call me by my name?" I ask. He simply nods and starts to groom me. "And why were you heading the opposite direction of here?" He asked. I explain everything to him. How I knew he wouldn't let me stay, to how I just left before he woke up so he wouldn't have to deal with telling me that I have to leave.

He chuckled and cuddled me. "Well I've been thinking since that night and since I've saved your life that I want to be your mate." He said a smirk on his face. I couldn't believe my ears. "You want me to be your mate?" I ask. He nods and I cuddle with him. Knowing that this will be a good life especially with him.
