"BE YOUR WHAT?!"

"EHH?!"

loads of shocked voices were heard. It was awkward, honestly. You were still there, having both of your faces nearly kissing while everyone was watching.

Of course, your lil' cutie pies have come to save you.

"Hey." Bachira and Isagi said in unison.

"Get the fuck away from her or else." They said, grabbing Barou's hand away from you, and pushing him to the ground.

You gotta admit, They were pretty hot this way.

"Darling! Are you okay??" "Did you get hurt?" You were bombarded with questions from these two, ignoring the fact they pushed someone.

"I'm fine, let's just go." You said, reassuring them.

. . .

"First off, making Isagi the center forward was a mistake!"

"In the next game, it'll be me on the top!" The sharped tooth boy said

"No, it should be me. We can win if I'm the center forward!"

"I'm never playing defense again, you hear?"

"Losers should shut up."

After the match, everyone argued. They were annoying, you couldn't even catch a break.

"Hey," You said, looking at Isagi. He looks.. disappointed.

"You okay?"

"I'm.. fine." Isagi replied.

"You know."

"You shouldn't let anyone offend you that easily"

"Don't let them get the better of you; if you do, it'll happen again and again."

"Don't lose confidence, 'kay? You're probably better than that king shit!" You comforted.

"Thanks, N/n." He said, as he holds your hand.

Your kind comments are really meaningful to him. A lot. Your uplifting remarks and soothing tone. It's addicting, making him want more of it.

This would be romantic, honestly, if it weren't for the atmosphere. Directed to your teammates. They're loud as fuck 😔

"That's enough! All of you!"

"Kuon.."

"Do you guys understand the situation we're in?"

"We're already a team that lost once."

"This first selection is a five-team round robin!"

"Only the top two team progress."

"Suppose all teams win two, lose two. We'd all be on six points."

"Which means, in order to advance, we have to aim higher and get seven points."

"That's the likely cut-off line that will decide who progresses." Kuon said.

'You guys just noticed that..?' You thought.

"So in short, if you loose twice, it's a yellow light turning into a red." Lemon exclaimed.

"We're already at the point where if we lose the next game, we're done for."

"If we don't get serious about how we're going to win, it really will be over for us."

"I have an idea!" The monk said.

"Why don't we use L/n? I mean, you saw her! She scored 2 on her own, without any help!"
