Long gone Peter Rabbit

The door opened as Johnny went out of his house. It was sunny, the birds flew by his side, and he trots along with the birds. Johnny stops at Peter's place. "Peter? You home?" Johnny called. But he didn't hear him, he got worried, so he enters. He went to Peter's door, he opens it, but he wasn't there and not in his bed. "Hm? Where is he?" Johnny wondered.

Johnny went out of his thorned house and comes back for later. It was afternoon, Johnny came to Peter's place again. "Peter Are you home now?" Johnny still didn't hear a reply. Johnny went inside and he still see no Peter hanging around. "It seems that Peter must have been gone for a while. I wonder where he's at right now?" Johnny said to himself.

Johnny goes back to the Green Forest to see if Polly knows if she seen him. Johnny went into his house; he ran down the stairs. Polly was eating her afternoon lunch, sitting at the table. "Polly, have you seen Peter?" Johnny asked. "Oh him? I don't think I've seen him at all."

"Well, I didn't see him for a whole day..." Johnny got sad about Peter. Polly said, "I'm sure Peter will be back tomorrow." "I hope so." Johnny sighed. "Since when did you last seen Peter, Johnny?" 

"I think maybe when I saw him go back to his thorned house?" Johnny recalled. "Oh... maybe Peter went somewhere else." 

Johnny said, "But Peter wouldn't gone somewhere else if he's going to get caught."

"You're right Johnny. Maybe he's with somebody else." Polly gives Johnny a cup of water, he sat down still wondering about Peter.

The next day, Johnny walks to Peter's house hoping he is finally back. Johnny went inside to check if he's there, but he isn't here... Johnny decides to go to Sammy since he flies and sees every animal below him. He asked Sammy " Sammy, have you seen Peter?" Sammy said, "Nope! I haven't seen that rabbit yesterday." "Oh, I guess I should look and find him." "Yeah, I think Peter's hiding somewhere, sometimes he would play pranks you know. "Or maybe he got in trouble." Sammy added.
