In the Green Forest, Reddy the Fox was taking a quench from a pond. He took notice of Peter hopping along and passing by. But Peter is trying to find a good place to rest. Reddy said to himself, "That Peter." "I'm going to get him!" Then he followed Peter and hides. Peter's long ears sensed something strange, but Peter didn't care about it and went on.
Peter finally found a wide space to nap. He first looked around to see if there's no predators, like Reddy the Fox. Peter then closed his eyes and took a nap. Reddy was watching him, while hiding in a bush. He was ready to pounce on him, as he wanted to do that for Granny Fox. Reddy jumped towards Peter, but Peter noticed quickly and dodged him. Peter ran back to the thorned bushes, where it's safe. Reddy came up and said "Peter, you rascal!" You'll never get away from me!
Due to Peter's swiftness, Reddy walks back to Granny's home. Peter started to yell, "Bye Reddy! See if you can't catch me next time!" Peter giggled, as Reddy was gone off with the wind. In Granny's house, Reddy came back to Granny Fox and gets in bed. Granny asked, "Well? Have you caught him yet?" Reddy was covering his face with a blanket; he shook the blanket off of his face. He looked at Granny Fox, "No, I didn't catch him." Granny became unhappy with Reddy. "Next time, we'll have a plan to get Peter's cottontail!" Granny said loud and clear. Reddy got excited, "Huh, really?" "Yes, but I'm thinking we could
